Today as I was in Church' I opened my Bible and found a Bible marker, written in Dutch, that '"Mercy" has sent to me before the Lord took her home.
I remember the day she came to Oasis as a non-believer and could not comprehend love. I would always tell her I loved her and she would get upset with me.
But, she kept coming back as she seen something here at Oasis that "drawed" her.
Her first user name was waterlily. After several long months and many members here sharing the love of God, she finally accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She then changed her name to Mercy as she saw God had Mercy on her.
God took her at the age of 32 and she was a blessing to us all here.
She is a precious memory to me.

I too remember Mercy/Waterlily and I think of my conversations with her often. She was such a loving and wonderful lady and I feel very blessed by God to have been given all the opportunities that He gave me to get to know her better. She and I would laugh on many occasions and I remember speaking to her about understanding God and prayer many times. She had a hard time understanding how anyone could take the time to love and pray for a person they hardly knew. She was taught many evils in her life, but it took God to show her Oasis where she for the first time in her life found REAL family, and LOVE. Thank you to all that reached out to her and changed her life by allowing God to work through ALL of you. You were a TRUE blessing to her. You changed her life. God entered her heart all because all of you took a little time out of your lives and let Him in.

I also wanted to again thank Phantomfaith for finding a translation program that allowed Mercy to be able to talk with more of us (due to the language differences) and could read more of the programs and studies here all because he took the time to answer the Lord's call upon his life as well.

All of you show me every day just why I have learned to love God even more now in my life then I ever have. It is because He brought me to a place where His love is shown daily through all that enter this site. Thank you for being who He created all of you to be. Thank you all for opening your hearts and allowing Him to work His miracles through you.

amen and amen again. Mercy is one of the many lives that has been changed through the ministry here at Oasis. The Lord never ceases to amaze me. He knows who we need..how to work through each one...and loves us so much its unfathonable.

God bless you all....i love you all so much..and He loves you more.

Thank you to all of you, too..you have all blessed my life in more ways than i can list.

May God bless each one of you with all the gifts He knows you need..in each area of your life and in your family's lives too.

Yesterday, I have alot a keys for the equipment I use and I have the ring mercy bought herself of a cross engraved in it, on the key ring. I see it everyday. She was such a blessing to all of us here. she was very faithful and donated on a regular basis. She was at peace knowing she was going Home to be with her Lord. I am thankful for the ones who took time to witness to her.

I have been here a long time. I occasionally look at the member list and wonder where some of our members are. Their are alot that I have come to love just by reading their post and seeing them logged in.

Just thought I would share.
