Day 4 opened my eyes
I thought I covered all my bases, I called those who I thought I trespassed against to seek forgiveness, but I didn't look at the other issues. I'm having a hard time forgiving, but I don't want this to affect God's forgivness toward me so I have to find a way. I did things I thought I would never do and I sinned. Others have taken advantage of me when I was down and now I'm in the biggest hole of worry and debt. It's hard to forgive but I'm going to try. These weeds keep popping up.

I like your positiveness here. I know that you will find it in you to forgive those that you need to forgive and to forgive yourself.
Keep pressing in . You are doing a good job.

Even in the hardest of times...He is there holding our hand

VKmama,
Forgiving is not always easy...in fact it can be difficult when the hurt has cut us deeply...but what we need to see is that not forgiving others or ourself hurts us even more. It holds us captive in the past....bound in chains...and we become victim to the hurt over and over again. Not forgiving others doesn't hurt those who hurt us...but hurts us only. Keep working on pushing through and letting go sis.
One thing I did when I was doing the counseling steps...was to write down a forgiveness list...and I wrote down the name of the person and all the wrongs I felt they had committed against me and once I placed this on paper...I left it there...sometimes a forgiveness list helps. Just a thought for you.
Praying for you sis.
luv ya

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
