Oh smiley I am sorry that some people see the need to hurt you and to log you out of their lives. You see it is them that is missing out. Not you! even tho it don't feel like that now.
Why choose to close out the two good relationships that you say you have when they can be healthy relationships?
Building this wall and laying more bricks are only going to block you from the relationships that God has in store for you. You say it is only a matter of time before the other 2 friends hurt you....is that the trust that you need to build that friendship on? What if God has put them in your life and you are pushing them away?
I know it hurts....but please step back take a deep breath and look at the whole pictures. Are these old friends that are hurting you potential friends that could pull you back? Are they friends who Love the Lord and encourage you and build you up or do they just take all they can from you and then make you history?
I ask you to please lay all this down and ask Jesus to heal your hurts and to help you through it. Please don't wall out those who love you the most and only want the best for you!
Praying you will find a peace in your storm!
Love ya sis!!!

Smiley,
I understand and feel for you.
I have one question for you my dear sweet sister.
Is this Gods will?
Anything outside of His will WILL bring you and others pain and suffering.
Sometimes we enjoy our suffering. Sorta like self harm. We really don't want to, but the pain feels good at moments because it's what we know and because of the anger and disappointment we carry.
Love you dearly.

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

smiley, I am going to put this to you from a different way.
Ever go someplace and when you get there, you look at the address in your hand because you cannot believe this is where you are suppose to be. The place looks terrible...missing cement, patches everywhere...then you go inside and it's the most beautiful place you have ever been in.
They were so busy keeping the inside nice, that they let the outside, what people see, be less appealing.
I know it is safe for you with God behind that wall but did you ever think that maybe God doesn't want to be lock up? He would love to be able to help others through you... because you know Him and love Him so.
And don't you think that He wants you to be free...
smiley, don't push away your other two friends. Maybe they are the friends that God sent to help you.
And you may not realize it but you hurt them when you push them away...

yes smiley....I to seen the movie last evening and Ronnie had to let get to the point where she forgave and let her walls down. I think her finishing the song for her dad was the language of love to him.
She let the walls down and let Will in to love her unconditional. She also helped someone who had hurt her badly but had a need.
I see in you the same aspects. You help those who are hurting and you forgive everyone but yourself. You have friends that are standing there with open arms waiting and praying for you.
When are you going to forgive you? When are you going to let you off the hook some sis?
He loves you so much smiley. Just begin to let your wall down to HIM and trust HIM.
prayers are with you sis

Hi Smiley sis,
All this talk about walls makes me think of the temple, you know the building that God designed where He came to meet with His chosen people? We're told in the Bible that we are the temple of God, so maybe there's something in the temple to help us understand how God designed us. Maybe there's something to help you understand why you can't find peace.
There's an outer court with the lavers and molten sea for cleansing... that's like our body. Then the inner court which might be compared to our soul. Then there are these two pillars outside the sanctuary which don't hold up anything; they are named Jachin and Boaz. Jachin means "in His Counsel" and Boaz means "by His Strength." Consider them your willpower... where your choices are made.
Once inside the sanctuary you'd pass through the Holy Place (the believer's heart) with it's lampstands and tables of shewbread, before arriving at the Holy of Holies (Spirit) where the ark of the covenant and the mercy seat are, and where the shekinah glory of God would come.
All around the outside of the sanctuary are little hidden chambers where the priests kept their personal things including (the Bible tells us) their items for idol worship. Perhaps these are somewhat like our subconscious memories, and things we try to hold back from surrendering to God.
This is very brief and there's so much more to the temple which can help us understand ourselves and our relationship to God... the altar, incense, tables of shewbread, lampstands, etc. I encourage you to study it out, there are many resources available to find or I"ll share some with you.
I don't know the answer...I'm not quite sure what God wants you to find in it.. but if you seek you will find.
