Sometimes Life is tough, and seems unfair
The littlest problem causes us to despair
We struggle, and push , it's an up hill war
We crash to the ground just when we start to soar
Is there any hope to have a life with meaning
To have all the best this world can bring
As I ask these things, a voice can I hear
It someone who loves me and calls me dear
The one who has given his life for me
Who gives me His best and lets me see
He tells me to look and seek Him first
And His living water will take my thirst
From the glittering dross this world can give
And gives me His spirit and teaches me to live
He has a plan that's fitted exactly to what I need
And when I'm in the valley, He takes the lead.
