GOD is so good

yesterday i went to that familiar place in my mind. the one i with the walls and everyone is locked out of. the one that says no one wants to see the real you, as a matter of fact, that's not you at all, you're just imagining not being that woman of low moral character.
that's what the world(and my husband) want and expect from me. as those feelings swirled in my mind and clouded my sight, my inner voice cried out to the HOLY SPIRIT. see, my spouse is my biggest opponent when it comes to spiritual things. i want to love and please him, but he wants a wordly woman and yesterday proves that's not me.
GOD gave me col 3:10-12 in answer to my prayer.
i have put on the new man which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him who created me. im not that same little girl who got lost in the shuffle of life.
as i read this morning, the story of elijah covering elisha with his mantle confirmed that there is no time to turn back. not in the mind, the heart, nor the body.
LORD i thank you that my strength is renewed this day.

Amen...each day is a new day....with new promises...and you know sis...you are a new creature now. Just hold tight to knowing that you are pleasing your Father in Heaven when you fight against what the world would have you be.

Amen sister. Keep fighting the good fight. some days will be harder than others, but you can do it with the strength and truth of the Lord within you. His will be done in your life, sis.
