uppy girl *hug*

I have this little scripture card stuck up next to my bed, with a little verse on prayer that reminds me of what it truly is... talking to God :)

We sometimes tend to forget that, and think it needs to be perfected and scripted and without flaw... but God just wants to be included and talked with, like any parent does and He cares more about sincerity than He does perfect words.

I too am still learning how to strengthen my prayer life. It is well worth the effort. And it does take effort to establish consistency in anything.

Cheerin u on schweetie *Cheer* *Cheer* *Cheer*

Love and blessings to u always

(I'm writing about two steps at once ,as I forgot to write down stuff for step 11.)

So step 11 is about the Holy Spirit..

So if I should pray and get closer to the spirit that means praying to God and talking to him right??

step 12

I am saved by God's grace.

That makes me so happy...I almost cried.

That makes me so happy to hear you have accepted this and know and understand that I choked back tears as well.

*hug5*

I have a head cold so I'm going to let someone else explain about the Holy Spirit. He is God, yes.

love you

Hey uppy :) The Holy Spirit intercedes for us and talks to God when we don't have the words to say. The Holy Spirit within us...is the one who makes it possible for us to talk directly to God. In the Old Testament times people did not have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them, so they had to go to a Priest and have a Priest pray for them. Jesus came to cleanse us of our sins, by dying on the cross. After He rose, He had to go to Heaven so the Holy Spirit could come down and live within us. Therefore giving us a direct way to pray to God without the need for the priest anymore. The Holy Spirit is with you each and every day...and if you will talk to the Holy Spirit...you will see Him doing things for you, that you wouldn't otherwise be able to do alone...including groaning when you are unable to speak your prayers.

Praise God for His grace sis...beautiful love...oh how blessed we are. Good to see you accepting His grace.

luv ya uppy.

Amen! Uppy, sis..you are doing an awesome job and seeing so much more! the Holy Spirit does that, too. He shows us things we didnt understand before. He also teaches us, gives us words to say when we are reaching out to someone else, He helps us to make decisions we wouldnt make for the good on our own. He comforts us, too. He will also convict us when we make mistakes. But, the whole time, He is helping us and loving us, too, and helping us to get back up when we make those mistakes.

God bless you, sis. Look how far you have come!! standing with you through this and loving every minute of it! *angelbounce*

in Jesus,
love momo *Halo*
