Have you ever stood, in the quiet of night
Where the street lights were far off from sight
Where the stillness and quiet of the night surrounded you
So that all you heard was the snow fall
This is where I can find
The peace and quiet of the world
Where everything can stand so very still
We offend find ourselves walking through this place
With such a quicken pace
That we forget what wonders there is to see
For me, I have found such a place
For me, it is right outside my door
On a night like this
I can find my peace, with what God has placed here for me to see
The gentle quiet of such a night, when the snow touches the ground
I am reminded that God's will is here to see, we just have to be patient enough to receive
For through this gentleness we can be renewed, with a simple reminder
His grace touches the land of which we stand, we just have to be patient enough to stand
