I have undiagnosed aspergers. I figured it out because of my son. I was glad to know the truth.

I also have textbook clinical depression with the anxiety component.

I have 2 children and neither one fits any description of normal. Nor does my husband.

but I'm okay with this. I now know who my true friends are and who the other people are.

pw4j *hug*

I remember when my cousin found out she was pregnant with her second child, she was so excited. And even more so that it would be a boy. And then how she cried when she found out that the baby had downs syndrome.

I tell ya, those tears are gone today, cuz that child is such a delight and a blessing and I KNOW that neither of his parents, nor those who have come in contact with him, would trade him in for anything. I understand the fears for the future, but God tells us to not worry about tomorrow, as He already knows our needs and will provide them for us.

There is this song by Natalie Merchant, i dunno if uve ever heard it

Wonder

Doctors have come from distant cities
Just to see me
Stand over my bed
Disbelieving what they're seeing

They say I must be one of the wonders
Of god's own creation
And as far as they can see they can offer
No explanation

Newspapers ask intimate questions
Want confessions
They reach into my head
To steal the glory of my story

They say I must be one of the wonders
Of god's own creation
And as far as they can see they can offer
No explanation

O, I believe
Fate smiled and destiny
Laughed as she came to my cradle
Know this child will be able
Laughed as my body she lifted
Know this child will be gifted
With love, with patience and with faith
She'll make her way

People see me
I'm a challenge to your balance
I'm over your heads
How I confound you and astound you
To know I must be one of the wonders
Of god's own creation
And as far as you can see you can offer me
No explanation

O, I believe
Fate smiled and destiny
Laughed as she came to my cradle
Know this child will be able
Laughed as she came to my mother
Know this child will not suffer
Laughed as my body she lifted
Know this child will be gifted
With love, with patience and with faith
She'll make her way

my dear sis, ya know God's Word says that He knows when one single sparrow falls; and in another place He says that He knows the number of hairs on our heads. He knows us soooo intimately, everything. He knows your struggle with this. He also says that He has a good plan for your life. the question you need to ask yourself (as we all do) is: do i really believe what He says?

i pray that you will continue to trust and that your belief will continue to grow thru your personal expriences with Him *hug*

luv you
