Hey Meredith and Darrin :)

Darrin, I want to suggest that you might think about joining the S. O. S. forum we have here. This is a private forum for members who suffer from sexual sinning and I think you might just find that your not alone in this fight...and it will give you support when you are tempted....to keep fighting the good fight.

As for sharing your feelings when you feel lustful...I don't think this means for you to hurt your wife...and if you tell her your attracted to another woman this will hurt her. What this study is saying, I believe is to share with your wife that you feel the enemy tempting you with lust, and need her to help you through this matter.

What did Meredith choose to work on today?

Praying for you both.

luv ya

Hi Darrin *Wave*

I like that...can't out sin God.

I wouldn't want to try though. lol

I think we all deal with lust at some point and time. Some more than others.

I always think of Joseph and Potiphars wife. He was tempted and left his coat and ran. He didn't take the time to get his coat back. He just ran.

When tempted...leave your coat and run!

God has blessed you with a wonderful relationship with your spouse. There will be trials and troubles. Cling to each other and cling to the cross. I want to encourage you to pray always for your relationship. Even during the good times. As this will strengthen your marriage for when the trials come.

GB and keep you both.

hey Darrin...glad to see you still walking these steps. May the Lord continue to show you these weeds. Bro, i agree with Pine...flee. The bible says to flee from the enemy and it may not happen over nite, but in fleeing from him each time, recognizing the temptations and turning from them, time after time, eventually, you will find freedom from them. Flee and run to the arms of the Lord. There are no degrees to sin. Sin in one area is no worse in the eyes of God than any other, except denying the Holy Spirit, which you have not done. God is a holy God and sees all sin the same. It serves to separate us from God, so that we feel too guilty to turn to Him for His mercy. Lust, like any other sin...any other addiction, can be removed from your life..just keep running to the Lord. We all fail, we all fall, but over time, the more we turn to Jesus in those times of temptation, the less hold that particular addiction has over us. Replace the lies with the truth, over and over, bro.

God bless you and your wife...keep fighting the good fight. One day at, one weed at a time. Its a life-long daily process..from glory to glory. His mercy doesnt mean we we have a free pass to keep doing the same things over and over knowing He will forgive us...it means that yes, when we fall, He is faithful to forgive..He knows and judges our hearts and intentions...so ya have to decide...we do have a choice when hit with temptations. Easy? no, but one day at a time, laying it at the foot of the cross.

love ya bro, and keep going. Walk in the light of truth, and the truth will set you free.

in Jesus,
luv momo *Halo*
