Praise will keep you lifted as I too ty for ur stregnth in this time and even sharing the sooner ya get to heaven ...

amen reminded me of a study we doing right now in the faith forum in the life of Job ...

when He was ready to die for his Lord ....

Job1:20 20Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,

21And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

22In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

That what ur Faithfulness reflects to me and thru it all God with Job as He is with you and will continue and walk ya thru and out of this we never know what our end will be since we serve a God of miracles ...

know that even caner has to bow down to God ...

God takes us not cancer ... God the winner and so are we ...

but as you have shared and Job yall saying Gods Will Be Done I am ready and willing...

beth moore love her and sounds like a great studyso glad ya have a church family tooo so important ...

takes a lot of courage and obediance and knowing Jesus Christ to be able to stand like that ..

ty keep Showing Forth the Praises in our weakness He is strong ... GB u and keep ur sis JCs *hug* praying GPWBD IJNA

With all of us, I am praying, too.

Pamela, this is a scary time. Surrender to God's will is necessary and you have done that. But God also knows your heart emotions, and is there to comfort you.

Jesus said that in this world we would have tribulation, but to be of good cheer, as He has overcome the world. But sometimes it just seems too much. I am many times surprised at the confidence the Lord has in us (me) that He would give only that which we can bear (with Him).

I had cancer surgery in Dec 08. No chemo (no insurance). And I have to wait on His will for me. But He has given me life, and for whatever time I have it, I want to live for Him - even if all I can do is pray, for myself and others.

Be of good cheer, Pamela, and know you are cared for and lifted to the throne of grace in prayer.

In Jesus,

Sylvia49

A friend from church took me to the hospital and dropped me off.

I went in, got registered, and made my way into the MRI scanner room with the technician when he called my name.

I saw a small cage-like device mounted on the sliding table, which I'd never seen before. The technician wanted me to put my head inside this little cage-like device prior to being encased in the scanner, for the 45 minute scan.

That was all it took------I was OUT OF THERE!

The technician said he recently had a patient have a heart attack inside the MRI scanner.

He suggested I try the "open" MRI in a certain city near here.

I may do that, or I may not. I am so disgusted with my cowardice!

Surprisingly, my friend was not angry or upset with me when she picked me up and I told her what had happened.

I've had several MRIs, and don't like them, either. But, I think mine were taken in the "open" MRI. I'm claustrophobic,
and have to still keep my eyes closed during the whole process.

Surprised your friend wasn't upset? She's your FRIEND! You are blessed to have a friend that accepts you as you are and accepts circumstances as "what is, is."

Thank You, Jesus, for Pamela's friend. Be with Pamela through these situations and let her know that nothing deminishes her in Your eyes.
Let her know that others care about her. We ask in Your Name, Amen

Hello...

I have spent the last hour reading every one of your posts on this thread. I am stunned, and somewhat speechless. I have only met one other person who was ill like you, and had the same unquestioning faith and love in Jesus. She was praying for others up until the moment Jesus came for her (literally), and took her home.

You have that same, selfless love for others that astounds and humbles me. What a blessing you are to anyone who reads your posts! It makes me feel sick and sad inside that at times I can sit here at my monitor and actually feel sorry for myself. The difficulties in my life are nothing compared to yours, and yet I don't have half the faith in God that you do. You are a living testimony to God's true love and grace towards all of us, and I thank Him for using you for this divine purpose.

You are an inspiration, and I want to thank you for sharing your ongoing battle with cancer with us here online...as well as your true love and trust in God.

May God bless you always *AngelYellow*

Hello, everyone----thank you so much for your prayers and encouraging comments.

Today I go to Loma Linda University Medical Center for my CT simulation.

The technician will be setting up the radiation field, and literally tattooing permanent small blue dots in the areas to be radiated.

They are going to also radiate the supraclavicular area lymph nodes to kill off cancer cells which may have migrated there.

Please be in prayer.

God is excellent---so merciful and loving---caring for each of us, His little lambs.

Love & hugs in Christ-----------

PAMELA

Hi, Pamela!

So you're going to Loma Linda - here's hoping and praying all will go well, In Jesus Name. *Pray*

Tattoos? Biker gal, here she comes! LOL *laughter*

I hope this CT will go better this time.

Be strong and of good courage - all things work together for good to them that love God (though we really don't know why - yet). *angelbounce*

I will be starting Radiation treatments very soon.

Although I know Radiation will not be invasive or painful, I still dread it somewhat. It has certain short- and long-term side effects, which I may or may not experience.

There are times when I do quite well emotionally.

And there are other days when I am angry, anxious and fearful. Sometimes I dread what I perceive the future to hold: intractable cancer pain. These emotions hit me suddenly, often at night.

Even if somewhere down the line I do have intense cancer pain, Jesus is with me. He will hold and comfort me when things get bad, just like He does now. I need not fear: so often we are told by God to "fear not....for I am with you..."

So once again, I give my past, present and future to God. He is the only one who can get me through all the days and nights ahead, whatever they may hold. He can be trusted completely, relied upon hourly. And He will never leave me nor forsake me.

Love from your sister in Christ----------

PAMELA
