Hiya Crewbies,

I am wondering if anyone has the recipe or a recipe for Sweet Potato Casserole ? I have eaten this before and it is delicious.. however never did get that recipe for it

If anyone has one will they please post it.

Oh I love sweet potatoe Casserole!!!


All I do is bake the sweet potatoes till fork tender. (poke them with a fork first so they release steam)

Then remove the skins, mash, add a dollop of butter, a scoop or two (or three ) of brown sugar, dash of salt, marshmallows on top and back in the oven to melt the marshmallows.

I don't use a recipe. All that can go wrong is to sweet from to much brown sugar. Is there such a thing?

Is this the type of sweet potato casserole you were looking for? Some call it candied sweet potatoes. I've also known people to use canned sweet potatoes and add butter, brown sugar and marshmallows. I've never baked it that way though.
