Divorce is a tuff thing, and when there are kids involved it makes it harder. I say this because I have been divorced for 10 years now. My 3 children live with there mom and I have seen many guys come and go out of my ex-wifes life. It was not easy for me.

You are doing the right thing to want to meet this new person who is in your childrens lives. And if you just continue to keep God the #1 person in your life you will over come this. Your children will always love you.

Everything is a process. It would be nice sometimes if things would happen a little faster but we probolay wouldn't learn a hole lot if that happened. God knows what is best and his timing is perfect.

Hang in there, keep praying, keep reading the Bible, maybe even listen to some Christian music.
This to shall come to past and in no time you will feel a whole lot better.

Keep pressing in and remember, you have a wonderful friend who will see you through. Our Lord and Savour. You also have your Oasis family.
I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers.
Luv in Christ
God Bless

There is a spiritual warfare sis. The enemy would like to make you feel there is no hope, no future, no plan for you. God has a plan for You! Spend this time getting closer to him. Focus on him, his word. Spend some time thanking him for laying your future out in front of him.

Psalm 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

God bless and keep you my friend. *hug*
Showering you with prayers. *Pray*

hey sis..wanted to encourage you in these steps. We mess up...all of us do. Take this time to get to know the you He created you to be and His will for you..and how very much He loves you. My prayers are with you as well...His desire for you right now, in this place, is to seek Him. Let Him show you how He sees you. This isnt gonna be easy, sis..but He will bring you through it if you draw near to Him and trust Him for your strength in Jesus. Walking with you every step of the way.

in Jesus,
luv momo *Pray*

hey sis *hug* Tough day for you? Of course it is. And you know what? Jesus knows this. That is why He is right there beside you. He is going to hold your hand through all of this...step by step. Just don't let this drag you down. Remember your not alone. Divorce is never easy, I've been there done that...but Jesus is my husband now...so I've gained and not lost. Keep your eyes on the Lord sis.

Praying for you.

luv ya

Though I am sorry to hear you're going through rough times Leaps , but the fact that I see you posting puts a smile on my face , the very fact that , of all other choices you have at your disposal , you chose to come here and post instead . To me that's our Lord's way of saying "I'm keeping my end of the bargain to see you through all this , and am glad to see you holding yours".

No matter how painful our experiences may get or be , our Lord says don't worry I AM with you and I will help you cross that bridge , Me and you , you will never have to go through this again . Its what I call the peeling of an onion , one layer at a time we discard the things that bring tears to our eyes , and before we know it the onion is gone and no more tears .

Praying daily for your healing(s) sis , keep up the good work and dont give up before the miracle happens .

Luv ya

Well, Leaps Madre . . . the prayer Jesus taught us starts with "Our Father" . . .
not with solving our problems ;)
So . . . as well as you can . . . right now, we can be quiet with God and enjoy His presence and kindness and sweet rest . . . then deal with it.

I'm thinking > you have adopted those stepchildren with your love.
Now you can adopt this "wife" who may be just a little girl
who is clueless what she is doing, and now is on the way to being
in the same situation you are now in. And may be you one day will
be able to say, "I've been there, too," and help her like a sister.

So, possibly it is good to be encouraged and start fresh with God, now >

"casting all your care upon Him,
for He cares for you."
(1 Peter 5:7)

When David and his men lost their families and possessions >
consider how he handled that >

they "wept, until they had no more power to weep."
(full-grown men who included mighty warriors > in 1 Samuel 30:4 >
bawling their eyes out)

And "the people spoke of stoning" David > in 1 Samuel 30:6.

Nice situation. But crying and talking about stoning David did not work.

What did work? > "But David strengthened himself in the LORD His God." (in 1 Samuel 30:6) And then he got with someone reliable and together they checked with God about what to do. And it worked, because David obeyed.

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,
to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .(Colossians 3:15)

"'In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,
because you have obeyed My voice.'"
(Genesis 22:18)

This is speaking of Abraham. Abraham's obedience did not just get himself blessed. This is not just about you, Leaps Madre > your obeying God in this can do good for a lot of other people.

leaps madre,

hello and welcome to the counseling program, i do believe u will find healing within these steps.

Going through major changes in ourlives we come across many different emotions within... confusion, depression, worry, anxiety about the future, regrets... the list can go on and on... we have to deal with those emotions one by one. They are weeds and need to be pulled by the roots. Once u pull them out remember to fill them with the opposite of those emotions which come from His Spirit

confusion~secure in knowing who u are in Christ
depression~joy of knowing He is with you and a everpresent help
worry and anxieties~ faith n trusting in Him that He will take care of yr every need
regrets~His promises to take you to higher ground

He will sustain you, He loves you and we love you too.

Gbu and will be lifting u up in prayer

♥Jill
♥♥I strive to love others as Christ loves me... Ephesians 5:1 Be imitators of God therefore as dearly loved children and live a life of love...♥♥
