Maybe it was just too much reading
Maybe it was a dream of some sort
Maybe it was simply a "wanabe" thing
Maybe i'm simply not cut out for
Maybe even a nightmare

Or could it be that I'm not a Christian after all ? Just some hallucination from an overworked heart and mind ?

Just too many maybies for this wretch to handle , one day it's a "Presence"
the next it's arrows all over my chest .
Could it be that maybe I'd simply gone over the edge and not know it ?

Who knows and who cares anymore , definitly not me !
I'm exhausted , no more strength left . Cant even cry if I wanted to for Christ's sake !

I think I can relate to those maybes. At times.

Now I could add
maybe I was to hard on myself.
maybe I held unforgiveness.
maybe I was trying to hard.
Maybe I truely wasn't seeking God.
Maybe self got in the way.

"Maybe" you should not try so hard and do something you find comes easy for a little while so you remember why you were happy before. You liked just talking to the lost in the park and alleys. "Maybe" you can do that again. Not going with any reason other than talking to them, like someone talked to you...

Vahn the chapter you are looking for is found in 1 Corinth 13
