Psalms 146:9
The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

I see God's hand in my life. He is meeting my needs. Yesterday having a widow from my church call me, even though we don't know each other was definitely God's doing.

I know the pain I feel from the loss of my husband and the up coming surgery is all in God's Hands.
He relieves the fatherless and widows. He takes care of us if we let Him.
I know I must put myself in His capable hands every day.
And even when the sadness that comes like a heavy weight every day,
God is my comfort and my strength. Because I don't stay in the sadness.
That is what I need to focus on. Not that the sadness hits me, but that I don't stay in it when I give it over to Him.
