beautiful piece of work vahn.

is it a drawing, a photo ..painting..combination of different things?
It is hard to tell from the picture what tools you are working with.

bottom line it is gorgeous and am looking forward to seeing more stuff.

Thank you much Mlg , October ,

October , actually its all of the above , I start out first of all with with a mere sketch , which actualy is my AA 10th step , "continued to take personal inventory" .. and I just sketch my thoughts for the day , and so in the process I sorta have a gauge of how my day went the day before , and see what needs to be worked on the next day (sponsor's sugg.)

But this one here, the title of which is "let go & let God" , its the aftermath of letting go , (my experience) . See , all this time I had been trying to let go and thought been doing a good job at it , however , was not letting God handle it afterward . The reason for it being I had become emotionaly hardened , so to speak ( the armor ) . but by finally , when all else failed and gave it all to God , He sent His Spirit (fire) gave wings to the heart and lifted it all up and in the process the armor was shattered and freed my heart .

Now for the tech terms , I work in Photoshop , which is an exelent prog. for manipulating almost all mediums , and I can actually sketch paint and work on photos themselves , so I sketch , tone and color on a pad , scan it and go to town with it .

I was never happier till I let God direct my thoughts and feelings , looking at it , it just brought the smile back in my face and light in my heart , so I thought I'll let everyone to enjoy the experience .

I may not have much , but what I got I share my all with all , for we are all God's kids you kno?

once again , thanx for letting me share

Vahn that is a beautiful picture, speaks volumes. Art is one of my favorite things. It reminds me of a peice i sketched out once. Drew a broken heart with hands coming down out of heaven as to holding the heart together to keep from finish breaking. Behind the broken heart you could see the outline of the world. The piture represented a broken heart out of this world that needed healing and the Lord was holding it together.

Thats a great piece there, God's given you a great talent.

Blessing to you.

Wow!
Thank you for sharing.
In the fire it looks like a man surrendering. Do you see it? Did you mean for that to happen?

No Pine I didnt mean it for that to happen , but I guess it was "meant" that way b4 hand ? hmm . After all , isn't letting go is the whole idea of surrender ? , by first , recognizing and admitting defeat then , well as long as we hold on to the defeat we will never be free from it , and when God tosses us a ball our hands are too full to catch it . my idea of surrender and letting go went something like , "how deep of claw marks do I want leave on it ".

See , Pine I have my idea , He has His , I put fire to depict Spirit , He puts a man surrendering in it , what does He know huh ?
