i wrote this poem in english class, and my teacher said it was really good so i thought i'd share it with you. We had to write about why rabbits aren't blue. It sounds a lil weird, but if u heard some of the stuff my class comes up with sometimes u'd see that there r ones even more sweird than mine out there. So here it is:

Why Rabbits Aren't Blue

Once upon a time in the land of the shrew
All the rabbits and bunnies were blue.
They wore blue t-shirts and tiny wee shoes
And one day they decided to try something new.
They built a big spaceship
And off they flew
To find a new land Now that's what we'll do

The trampoline

I'm jumping like a jumping bean
Jumping on my trampoline
I'll jump to the moon,
but i'll be back soon
cause i don't wanna be a sinner
and miss my dinner
i'll jump past the stars
its not really that far
and then i'll be falling
I hear my mother calling
but i am jumping too high
i leave her behind
but oh oh hears uncle Ned
coming out of the shed
he has a cane in his hand
i jump down to the sand
quiet as a mouse
i run to the house
i sit at the table
by my sister Mabel
Uncle Ned comes in
There is gel in his hair
he says "johnny would you like to go to the fair?"
I skip off, and gone is my sorrow
i guess i'll just have to jump to the moon tomorrow.

If The colour blue tasted like cheese


If the colour blue tasted like cheese,
we could eat through our worries with ease
blue cheese, gouda, camembert,
blue cheese might wash away your fears
If blue tastes like cheese,
does brown taste like chocolate?
I'm sure orange would taste like oranges if you tried it
If blue tasted like cheese,
what would our world be?
The sky would be cheese
everything black would taste like cats,
everthing green would taste like grass,
what would be our fuiture, what would be our past?
But since blue doesn't taste like cheese,
we can't eat through our worries with ease
maybe a wish upon a star will come true
and blue will taste like cheese just for you.


Ok i think our teacher has an obsession with the colour blue but its my favourite colour too so i don't care. Hope u like the poems!
