wowzas girlie 2.5 hours .... how much time do you normally put in?

often we need to hold others accountable when the they "fall" out of their plan, as in not doing; it never ocurred to me that over doing could need help in being accountable ... how much time would you like to spend at the gym .... what is your acceptable "norm"? let us know so we can encourage you in the direction that you are wanting to get to ... *hug*

and also, i've got a question for you cry ... how do you know when enough is enough ... i keep increasing time on my cycle, i'm up to 25 mins ... at the hardest number on my dial ... and i've increased my reps two times since i've started .. my overall workout time is 1 hour and 10 mins ... that doesn't include my walking which is about 45 mins ... should i hold at this .... i guess i'm asking what is defined as over excercise?? *dunno*

What are the symptoms of too much exercise?

You may have some symptoms of too much exercise. The typical symptoms of too much exercise include: insomnia, achiness or pain in the muscles and/or joints, fatigue, headaches, sudden inability to complete workouts, loss in appetite, feeling unmotivated and lacking energy and elevated morning pulse. Exercising too much can cause some problems like: injuries such as stress fractures, strains and sprains, low body fat, fatigue, dehydration, osteoporosis and arthritis.

okkies that's good to know ... i think i've over done it. all of a sudden, it feels like (with my stretching part, its like pillates) my muscles start to ache really badly only after about 1/2 of my reps, i just power thru the pain ... i should probably cut back a little bit huh?

cry ... have i increased too much too fast?? its only been about 6 weeks and i'm already up to my max in reps and such ....

i'm thinking of cutting back to half??

i haven't reached injury (yet) ... but i don't really want to ...

All those symptoms childs, i am like that everyday and its not from exercise, course i got chronic pain issues so maybe that has something to do with it. lol . Well ladies i am very proud of the efforts yall are making. And lion i never thought of being accountable in overdoing stuff either but that is an awesome point u brought up childs. Let us know wat ur cutoff is and how we can help.
