hiya jill .... i just posted a message to you in another forum
anyway.... i don't know how much weight i've lost ... don't own a scale (personally, i believe scales are from ... ya know ... that other place)

i go by size and inches. the marjority of my work out is muscle work, which outweighs fat ... it can be deceiving for me when i use a scale. i will say that all my clothes are getting loose -- not quite "baggy" yet; and not needing to buy any new ones yet ... but ... loose (so we're going in the right direction,
speaking of which, its almost six, so i should go get changed -- its my easy day today!

hey jill and Lion ... Good morning sis's
Well I did get to do my work -out yesterday yay!!! Thanks to someone we all know as LION roarrrrrrrr she checked up on me and I soooo went right to it as soon as she did and yes I feel great today knowing I stuck to it and its only monday too...
my spirit is estatic but my flesh is saying oooowa, ouch and oweeeeee ... LOL
but ty sistassss for checking in on me ...
Soooo how r yall doing? and is there like a diet yall following and excercise too ???
I have these tensions bands like long colored rubber band that have handles at ends that are cushiony and I put my feet in and pull with my hands sooo its working my arms as well as my legs and I do 10 slow counts holding each one up and can move legs up side works a few of the muscles not just legs ...
but today I feeln it LOL
but I am happy and know it s good to do wooooo ty again Lion and jill for checking in ...

I know we can do all things thru Christ amen but I was getting a lil down about gaining weight and changes in my life that i have to remember I can thru Christ take care of this body, amen He has delivered me from hypertension! ... Praise You Lord! Ty Jesus, I had such high readings a few months back but God kinda gave me some insight on natural stuff since I was not ready to take meds. I tried what he said and my blood counts have been regulated and all in normal counts amen
but I still have the weight issue and pain and the changes in my life have been kinda drastic ...
but I am ok knowing when I keep my eyes on Jesus and not on my size LOL ty soooo much goldie and every one for sharing gold ty I am under doc supervision and they actually gave me these excercises my physical therapist and we did use a rubber bands there tooo ...
and that big ball yall ever use them? Well my oldest gave me one a few yrs back when I recently moved I put it in a garage sale we had cuz I never knew what the purpose and how to use ...
Welll after being in physcal therapy they are used to sit and bounce cuz they extend ur spine and open the vertabraes so that your spine allows the fluids to flow cuz that is why we feel pain and the fluids flowing relive some pain ...
and there used to lean on wall and hold it up with ur back to build ur back muscles and ya roll it up and down the walll with ur back and only go as low as ya can I do believe when ya excercise the no pain no gain can be very dangerous too cuz we dont realize how important our back and spine is and any damamge to it or disc that pinch nerves or put stress on it is not really working out and finding out ya messd things up ...
well I did with throwing the vacumm hose and piling every thing i carried in my cleaning business up the stairs all at once a bucket full of suppies and vacumm and good size boom box and mop and small step stool ladder I would thru over my arm and race up the stairs hoping I woulnt drop anything cuz I was so exhausted from cleaning the apartments that I tried to make my job and work as easy but didnt realize I had some back problems to begin wth and all I did was mess things up more ...
as well been hit by two cars two different times LOL threw me to the back hood of the car so yall be very careful in grocery store parking lots...
one young girl racing out almost killed me and my two lil grls when they was younger if not been for my ex screaming car, car he grabbed one and grabbed the other and I thru my daughter over my shoulders opposite of car and then car at that split sec hit me thru me onto the back hood of car and then instead of her stopping, I know she heard and saw me she hits the gas and throws me to floor LOL LOL
I could not believe what I had just experienced sooo yall watch them backing out cars the other time was elderly couple they did same only they didnt drive off, I was able to pound on there back hood and they stopped LOL
butttttt as I share please take care as yall work out think and feel every move out and think is this putting more harm on my bones and body than gonna work me out ...
not to discourage any one but to share as saftey precautions and I care ...

whoo hoooo go sistas gooooooo yall be sooo awesome. Sheepy i only got the deal a meal cards in so far and i gots to wait til i get paid to get healthy foods, so for now me is just focusing on getting thru the day until everything comes in and i can get some healthier food and focus on it. Theres lots i wanna change, sometimes i need to remind myself to take baby steps. I cant do all of it at one time.. I soo proud of u all. One day we can all meet and together!!! Praising the Lord the whole time wooo hoooo.

Well girls progress comes in small steps ... progress is success !!
I agree with where scales came from lion.
When first began this change of eating and exercise I got on a scale to have a beginning place to know where I started. But for the first many many months I only went by my clothing it was so much more encouraging. Because when building muscle (which weighs more than fat) your weight will not reflect the body-size changes as much as tighening muscles do with your clothing getting bigger.
Even now I do not weigh often because am still going down in my clothing while my weight does not seem to move much.
Spent the morning with my trainer yesterday, working especially hard because of messing up the evening before...ate some chips and dip. Not much of it...but enough to make me feel great while I stuffed it into my mouth crunching away...but later I felt bloated and had a headache saying "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING !!!".
Another wonderful lesson of your flesh having its way when you know better.
Well Thank God I have another day to do the right thing..because each day offers another opportuntiy to be blessed in doing the Lord's Will and to encourage and support others.
Ladies...Have a wonderfully successful day in Christ and in your life style changes.

i know it friend ... my vice used to be nacho chips and cheeeeeezzzz dip (ohmyohmy ... soooo freekin good) ... but then alas the next day!! i'm in bed for the day because of the food additives in the cheese dip ... so every bite ... i was literally saying to myself ... "this is gonna hurt sooo much tomorrow .... <and in a sinsiter voice ---> ... but its sooooo good right now..."
but now ... i'm a whole new woman ... its only popcorn from here on in!!!

so, i just sucked it up ... put a couple new songs on my mp3 and powered through ...
