Me and The Spirit

Postby bigred29 » Fri Jan 02, 2009 9:35 am

I have been through cccc and mcfc. I felt both were rewarding. I am now on day 2 here. I feel me and Him are getting along better than ever. He is showing more about who I am. He had me do a couple things last night before bed. First was to pour out that whiskey in the freezer. Let the septic tack have it. The other was ending my relationship with smokeless tobacco. After I spit out that last one, I smiled like I have never smiled before. I know this new transistion will not be easy. I know I will make it. His Spirit is guiding me. The bottom line is I don't need to stop letting the Spirit guide me.

Just my take on it.

GOD BLESS!!!!

I have a feeling now that I can't explain. I guess He is working. no. I know He is. I just hope it can be seen by others.

I feel like that little Energizer Bunny this morning. The Spitit has me going and going and going and going..........you get the idea. I feel more alive each step of this program.I just completed #4. Oddly enough, all this seems so familiar to me. Almost like I've been here before. Deja vu, if you will. I know one thing is certian , I love this feeling!!!!

Hi, bigred29:

I agree with everyone: this is an excellent study of the Holy Spirit's role and purposes in the lives of believers.

He is a Person of the Trinity!

Keep up the good work.

Alright, bigred29---congratulations on completing the study!

There are parts of it that I intend to go over again.

And I have a slightly different understanding on the "blasphemy" of the Holy Spirit.

I have been taught and believe that the unforgiveable sin is when a person goes their entire life---intentionally rejecting God and Jesus the entire time.

Then they die as a rebellious unbelieving sinner, and appear at the Great White Throne of God's Judgement. Their name is not found written in the Lamb's Book of Life, so after being righteously judged by God, they get a permanent, eternal place in the "Smoking Section."

Believers go to the Bema (Mercy) Seat of Christ when they pass away---there to be rewarded by Him. It is there that we will hear: "Well done, good and faithful servant. . . . ."

See you at the Bema Seat!
