im supposed to share my thoughts, concerns and what is bothering me. So here it goes.

hmm let me start by whats bothering me...Not having enough finances for christmas for the kids, filing for chapter 7, my van getting repoed, angry about having to work 2 jobs to survive, angry at my x husband for breaking his vow, what do i say to the people who will want me to go back to a sinful life, my boss who is a thief and a liar how do i deal with that and how do i deal with knowing what he's doing is wrong but I cant say anything because i need the job to pay my bills. Does that make me less a christian? How do i retrain my brain to not worry so my ulcers heal. My good friend who has helped me through all of this , but has expectations on me that i cant seem to think id be able to follow through on. Am i going to be able to make rent next month ... these r my thoughts, my concerns and what is bothering me I know God wants me to trust in HIM, ANd I am but sometimes i get sidetracked with these thoughts that jump into my mind, and i know when they come and i try to do my best in confronting the thoughts with scripture and rebuking them and replacing them with the way GOd wld want me to think.

Jiwal sis *hug5* .

Does that make me less a christian?

No, it makes you human... :) But guess what...

Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

That is His promise to us. He is bigger and more powerful than any problem or affliction that comes to us.

I am so happy to see you on this path. I too have taken this journey, more than once, and it has truly led me closer to God and His will for me.
Thank you for sharing your heart with us, and know that tho the problems seem to be overwhelming now, God goes before and after and at your side, every step of the way.

Dont forget to join us for the CCCC Support Group chat, on Thursday nites at 10 pm est :)

God bless you dear jiwal.
One step at a time, God is faithful :)

Love in Him

Hey jiwal *hug* yay I'm so glad to hear you are starting the counseling steps. There is so much healing in these steps, and sounds like you are needing some in your life. You have lots of worries sis, but may you know that Jesus can hold them all. He doesn't want you to worry, in fact, He wants to bring you peace and comfort. Begin turning over your problems to Him, lay them at His feet. Then make sure you leave them there, and allow Him to begin helping you get past them. Money is a problem for me, but just remember He will provide. Don't allow the bitterness that Satan wants to keep you wrapped up in, to overtake what God wants from you. You have much sis, and there are answers, just take it one step at a time. Forgiveness is key. Forgive yourself and others who have caused you pain.

Sis I share the following scriptures in hopes they will bring comfort to your situation.

Matthew 6:25-34
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Praying for you sis, may the Lord be with you.

Take care and God Bless

Hi, jiwal! So happy you are doing the CCCC study. I have done it as well and it is quite refreshing. You will learn so much and be encouraged.

Things are really tough right now, but you just need to keep the faith. God is working for you, not against you. All will end up for the greater good and will glorify God.

Give your worries to Him. Pray for guidance and peace. Let Him handle your heavy load. You will feel better. He is fully able to handle your life and give you many blessings.

God bless you, sis. We are very glad to have you here at Oasis.

Hi, Anna! *Welcome* to Oasis!

You have been through so much. Being let down by someone you love and who was a pastor is terribly difficult. I can see where your faith would be tested.

But, my dear sister, there is one whom you know who will never let you down. He will always be there for you.

Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

What now? Go to the Lord in prayer. Tell Him everything you told us. Ask Him to help you and show you the way. He will hear you.

Psalm 77:1 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

I hope you come back and become part of our Oasis family. You will find friends, encouragement, and love here.

God bless you, Anna. May you once again experience the peace, love, and joy of Christ Jesus.

Good morning jiwal, it's so deLIGHTful to hear a smile in your words this morning. Those weeds are some nasty little things to pull aren't they? Well just grab hold and pull one at a time. Then remember to plant some beautiful fruit in place of those weeds. Remember weeding your garden is a daily task, you can't skip a day, cuz then a new weed can be planted and overtake the fresh fruit you are planting.

It's so good to know that you are now reaching for the Lord and passing your problems to Him. He can get you through this, and His way will be Perfect.

Keep doing the steps sis.

luv ya

day 4 I have received forgiveness from Him and forgave those who sinned against me including my x husband (whew that was hard!!) *Halo* and I am forging myself and freeing myself from guilt of the sins I have committed and He has forgiven. I realize its a thought process that has to be broken, habitual if u will, so please pray with me that God will continue to renew my mind. Thank u and God bless

Jiwal, I can so relate sis, to the forgiving the ex. I too went through this, and it took me several years to finally be able to let go. But thank God, I have, and now, I look back and say, why was I holding that grudge to begin with. It sure feels better to be free and know that the Lord is the one who got me through that time. Yes it is a renewing of the mind daily, but each day gets easier and easier.

Jiwal, I really see you beginning to grow sis. You are a delight to watch.

Luv ya
