Aww sis
This must be such a tough situation for you, and im sorry that you are in such a position. You are torn between doing the right thing in the eyes of the law, and your love and protective instinct towards your child. And you may be also afraid that you will lose your son, if he doesnt understand why you did it. Or that maybe others will think you heartless if you turn him in.
But when I read your post, I wondered, how much worse would it be for your son, if he continued on in this situation... Would there be a stiffer penalty the longer he ran from the law?
Have you spoken to him about the consequences of his lies, and what may happen if the cops think that you are hiding him?
I think it is so awesome that he is saved now, and him and you, can rest assured that his past is forgiven by our Lord, no matter what anyone else may think. But sometimes our past actions do have consequences, even after we are forgiven, and God may allow us to go thru that, so that we will learn the lessons and not repeat past mistakes, but be able to use those lessons to build a better future.
Talk to your son, pray on this my sis, ask the Lord to guide your heart to do what He wants you to do, not what others are telling you to do. He will reveal that to your heart. And when He does, do not worry about how others will take it, just trust in Him and know that He will always seek the best for you and your children.
Im prayin for you durin this difficult time.
Glad you are here sis

Hey donna. Welcome sis, and may I say my heart goes out to you. Just remember as a mother we want the best for our children, but also you are carrying a burden. I ask that you speak with your son about doing the right thing, and helping this burden to be lifted from himself as well as you. I'm praying for you and him.
Take care and God Bless
