The signs are everywhere....earthquakes, volcanoes, terroristic events, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes you name it....only God knows the time and day that Jesus will return....but do you think that time is near?

I am not sure how I missed this post, but I'm glad I saw it today.

Yes, I think the time is near. There is so much hatred in this world, having some people screaming and demanding tolerance -- while holding others to standards that they themselves do not and cannot meet, and where forgiveness is not even a consideration. It's difficult to witness, making me want to dig deeper into my cave.

Lord God Almighty, I know You are there. Thank You Jesus!

These are dark times we're living in, which makes me so much more grateful for the Fire and Light that lives within. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Amen!

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. My hope is burning bright, so I must not be tempted to hide it under a basket.

Has anyone noticed that many of the countries mentioned in the Bible as being players during the End Times are on "Stage" more and more lately?

Too much so....but here is an interesting thought...the Bible says there will be a great falling away...before the end....I don't see that happening just yet....but I see the signs of how it is coming.....I notice the souls in the church houses are older and older and fewer....the enemy is preparing to pull the younger Christians away....we must be watchful.

To answer your question, Christianity Oasis, Yes! I have noticed many of the countries mentioned in The Bible in conjunction to the End Times, and yet I still find myself being tempted to panic. So much talk, so many distractions because there are so many players beating their chests for attention and they are so arrogant that they don't even know they are willing pawns.

It helps me to communicate this to someone like you, because I know I won't be judged for being ignorant on so many levels to the history of the world and "whose who" in the world, currently. I will confess this, I rarely see anyone in political power and/or world power that I would want to invite to dinner. I'm suspect of most, which is due to the verbal street fights that break out everywhere, similar to watching cats that live together turning on each other when they see a stray out the window. But, Praise God, I find that when I read God's Word about these matters, I'm able to take a deep cleansing breath and the sense of confusion and panic subsides for a while.

I'm very grateful for the study on The End Times on this site because it helps me navigate through The Bible to locate scriptures about The End Times that are throughout The Bible -- in both the Old and New Testaments.

On another note, with the physical death of Billy Graham this week, a memory came forth of a time back in the 1950s when I was maybe 4 or 5 years old, and sitting on my Dad's lap while he watched Billy Graham on TV. I didn't understand what he was preaching about, but I remember how intense he was. He mellowed in his delivery over the years, but his fire was the same. May he rest sweetly with The Lord. I'm looking forward to seeing him and my Dad again.
