Need Support

Postby Danacovertiscool » Sat Jan 31, 2015 1:57 pm

Hello, guys. I need support very badly.

Basically I feel like I'm a bad person. I end friendships in real life, AND online abruptly. I feel like I'm required to do what people tell me to do even though I'm a 32 year old male. I feel worthless sooooo much. I fight with people all the time, even though deep in my heart I love them. That is both in real life, and online. I make friends very easy. I talk to them for a while, then say it's over. Why is that? I do right now believe I'm worthless, and need some kind words to cheer me up. Thanks.

Did you try the cccc study? Do you spend time being quiet with God?

Do you quit because you think that they will quit on you? And you would rather be the first to quit? Do you quit because you cannot stand to have someone be unhappy with you?

It feels terrible when someone is unhappy with you - but it is impossible to be close with another person without being unhappy with them sometimes and also having them be unhappy with you. But in a good relationship, when the disagreements come, the two people each take time to think, and then they talk it over and hug and are back to pleasantness again. Once or twice a month my husband and I get cross with each other over something. And that is what we do. And sometimes even after we've talked and hugged, we are quiet around each other into the next day. But it does get better. Loving people doesn't mean that you like them and are happy about them every minute of every day. Learning how to deal with conflict is very important.

I think you might need help with this. Do you have a preacher or someone at your church that you could ask for in person help?
Hugs,
Dema

No, I don't quit cause I'm afraid people will quit on me. I quit over stupid things like them not emailing me, or whatever. I just quit cause I'm unhappy with the person for whatever reason made me quit on them.

I'm starting on the CCCC plan. I journaled for Day One. You can read what's going on with me there.
