Day3

Postby Reba » Sun Dec 23, 2007 11:47 pm

was hard to do day 3 without No interruptions . I got through it without many Interruptions . God's grace is not a get out of hell free card . I think some people think once their saved that's it . We need to follow the Lord , Listen and Obey . Sometimes us Christians try to do things for ourselves thinking we can do a better job . They we end up in trouble . We cry out to God and he comes and helps us , and dusts us off . It's good to know when we go to God and we ask for our sins to be forgiven and we really mean it . they are forgiven . I need to learn to hand things over to God , stop fighting him for control . He is in control . He knows what I need better then I do . I love this study . I feel better .

Hello Reba,

Amen, sister.

Giving up control, was a tough one for me. But, wooooohoooooo what beautiful freedom there is in letting go and letting God.

Yes, we need to get back up. Whatever leads us to fall, just knowing that He is there waiting for our return is such blessed comfort. And the quicker we get back up, the quicker we'll be in a position to receive His love and peace and joy. He didn't withdraw from us when we fell, but sometimes our minds start focusing on the fall or the distraction or something other than Him. We need to refocus on Him.

I'm so excited for you, Reba. Jesus loves you so very much, and The Holy Spirit loves your company.

God bless you, Reba,
Sister Mack
