k125 day 3 of the christian counseling journal
So I missed one day I think it was.
But here is what it said in the day 3:
"In like manner ... Our sins cannot outdo God’s Grace. If you’re sorry for your sins, and repent to God through Jesus' name there is no effort whatsoever required of you to obtain God’s Grace. It’s a miracle that is already yours, all you have to do is accept it. God doesn’t ask us to jump through hoops or stand on our head to be forgiven. He doesn’t demand that we work hard to win His love back. He just asks that we believe that Jesus paid the price for our sins on the Cross and that God raised Him from the dead. It’s so simple, yet many people CHOOSE to believe or are CON-vinced into believing that they are not able to be forgiven for their sins. These souls need only trust in His Grace."
I feel worried that I'm not truly repentant or I don't truly believe. Or perhaps I'm trying to "earn" salvation and I don't realize I'm doing it. Maybe I worry too much...
