Day 4 of my 14 day Stepping Stone Journey
A few days have gone by without me posting here. I have to be honest I needed to take some time to review the first 3 steps. I needed to get in from my mind to my heart. I am so good at knowing what the Scriptures say...but there is a difference in understanding what they say. I know to go back to the steps is maintenance. But I really needed to at this point because I had ( have ) a lot of weeds in my garden. Through this time I took to review and apply what I learned and understand now...I have pulled a lot of weeds.
By doing this...I was able to move on to the next step...Forgiving / Forgiveness / Forgetting
I can see now where guilt has played a big part in my life. I found I had carried resentment in my heart for a long time, which I can now see how it affected my spirit and carried over into many areas of my life.
