Prayer request for friend's nephew

A friend of mine's little nephew suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns yesterday from a fire. An older child of 17 was throwing gasoline on a fire and the smaller child was nearby. This little boy is in the hospital and has a long recovery ahead. My friend has texted me requesting prayers....and I know that there is power in prayer....so I request you all to pray also.
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
