Help with sharing the word
I have been struggling with sharing the word of God, im sure i
am helping some people but the majority of them think im
crazy and they shoot my down with "there is no proof of God"
and all of the typical non-belivers responses. I keep pushing
and pushing but i just dont know what to say anymore. I can
"prove" to them God exsist by their standards, so they shut me
out. I dont know what to do with these people because i love
them, some are strangers but i still love them. Is there anything
in the bible that says what to with these type of people? Should
i jusr use my breath on other people, or keep pushing them? I
feel like me pushing is just mak8ng them mad. Im lost with
this, please help if you can. God bless

Re: Help with sharing the word
Hello ClarissaMarie
God bless you this day, and welcome to Christianity Oasis.
I praise The Lord that you have a passion to share The Good News with others. Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus!
While I understand it is every Christian's honor to share The Good News of Jesus Christ, there is much to be said for the ways in which we share it. I think many of us, in our zeal, come off a little too strong at times, and it does come out more as if we are "pushing" them than we are "sharing" with them.
As a Christian, you have the indwelling of The Holy Spirit and He draws people in. He doesn't push or demand, nor does He engage in arguing. Jesus is our example, and people swarmed to Him...they were drawn to Him for a myriad of reasons, but, mostly because they were hopeful. They had "heard" that He was The Messiah and they wanted to check Him out; some wanted a healing; some found themselves drawn to Him, yet they didn't really know why. And, sadly, there were some that checked Him out because they were only naysayers hoping to trip Him up. Jesus didn't run after the naysayers, begging that they hear Him out, and He didn't go about jumping through hoops or dancing to their verbal demands, either. He shared The Truth, and He did so in love.
I Peter 3:15
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
Sharing the hope in one's heart is a joy-filled event. It makes ya happy. There will be some that do not receive it well, or may respond differently than you anticipated, but remember, "...one plants the seed, another waters it, and God gives the increase..."
(See: I Corinthians 3:6-8)
In most cases, the good seed planters and good seed waterers do not see the final product. But, God does. Afterall, no good seed planter nor good seed waterer did the actual work themselves, for it was God working through them that did the good work.
Remember to take frequent breaks, pray and be renewed daily, because God loves you and He gave you that blessed passion for Him. Do not be discouraged! May God be glorified through all your endeavors.
I hope to see you around the site, often, and to hear from you again.
God bless and keep you, CarrisaMarie.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

You may have plated a seed. Follow God's will here because pushing could win them to the faith or push them so far away they will not ever come to faith.
christianity is not a religion it is a lifestyle of having a relationship with Jesus
