Silent

She has tried - but can not explain,
why she feels this way.
The feeling is just there,
and it will not go away.

She has been fighting with herself,
each and every day.
Trying to keep out the thoughts,
that she no longer wants to stay.

If you peek through the door,
this is what you will spy.
A grown woman, curled up on the floor,
with silent tears streaming from her eyes.

Everyone around her, too blind to see,
everything she is trying not to be.
Each and every day is a struggle to go on,
she wants nothing more than to belong.

Despite what you think of her,
she knows what be.
She does remember,
she does see.

She is still crying,
she is still trying.
She is still smiling,
but she is still dying.

Cuz she is still fighting with herself,
each and every day.
Trying to keep out the thoughts,
that she no longer wants to stay.

As much as possible, try to replace these thoughts with other thoughts. Church, activities - wholesome and mind involving things when and where you can. I know it won't fix it. But it will help. And give it to Jesus over and over again. Hugs.

Deep poem Ann, worded beautifully.
Every day we fight against the thoughts the enemy puts in our minds, we are in a spiritual war.
But we are still free in Christ and destined for heaven and peace where there will be no more tears.
