Thanks for praying for us, as you may know.. Noonday Devotion has stopped until late august,.when it will return. But we won't be going anywhere.. we are still active.. so if you receive the devotions either on groups or in person.. we are still here

Praise God

It is the first anniversary of me arriving in China (30th June) and of our engagement (11th July). Praise God.. we love each other deeper than ever

That we have a few more people coming to the services.

Through Our English Classes, we have been able to reach out to the parents and children with the Gospel


Pray for

Spiritually

That we would be close to God, that our focus would be on Him and Him alone.

For our little church to grow and for the faith of the members to grow and deepen

Pray for more men to come into fellowship and for co- workers to come forward to help us.

For our Mother church and it's leaders Pastors JI and Pung

For our area of Nanjing.. it is like a suburb.. 45 Min's from downtown.. like a little town all on it's own. Please pray that our church would have a dynamic effect on it.


Family

For our marriage to remain strong and steadfast.. the devil is attacking christian marriages. May we be an example in love and devotion to each other and to God

For Ming, she is taking Tofel, with a view to attending a university abroad to study art. Please pray as she takes this exam (TOFEL) on 28 th September August. She will be hard at work over the summer. Please pray that she would put her full trust in God

Please pray for us as we hope to have students to study New Concept English three mornings per week. God provides the students, not us


Please pray for Helen's health.. she is so precious to me. Pray that she would be able to rest during summer break

Please pray for both of our families to be saved


Personal

Please pray for the sale of my static. Please pray for this fervently

We have had it prophesied that we would have a son.. please pray that this would come to pass. I am 54 and Helen is 45. WE have seen some mixed blood babies and they are very cute.. for both of us, it is such a dream.. for me especially

That I would be able to speak Chinese better.. I am getting there slowly

That I would be able cook better.. since I came.. I have learnt to cook and even bake bread.


Other

Pray for Brother S, who is going to train as teacher in Beijing. Please pray for financial provision

For Brother Z and Wife C, expecting first child in August

For the marriage of C and S to be strengthened

For our Students: We love these little ones.. Ask God to bless these little ones

Pray for Sister B, her husband was seriously ill, he had to be fed by tube, by after we visited him and praying over him, he is now walking about. Please pray for his salvation
