Remember those who touched our lives here on Oasis
Many people have blessed my life these past many years here on Christianity Oasis.
This time of year the ones no longer here come to mind and warm my heart.
I remember :
That precious waterlily who filled these
Talk about being saved! What a testimony!
How awesome it was to wittness her miracle unfold before our very eyes!
Has anyone fed his lately?
Remarkable man! Knew just when to love.
Knew when to give a swift kick in the backside.
A *brother* to me he was!
That polecat who would race my son
I remember he suddenly wasn't there. For about two weeks we heard nothing.
Then came word of his emergency bypass surgeries. 4 or 5 times it was.? I told my
son of this and he layed his head into my chest and prayed the most awesomest prayer
I ever heard: "For Polecat".
And that wonderful Rise n Shine lady, ljd. Learned so much in that morning program.
It was so addicting! Had withdrawl sysmptoms if I just missed one morning.
Remember that water lady from Florida who made such a "splash".
Remember the "save the turkeys" lady, and that beautiful firecracker,
her pocket pirate. What an awesome pair!
Remember, ange, and his forever praising God in all his circumstances.
Whom do you recall?

Hi, Timothy. I miss all of these people. Plus, so many more. I think about Storm and wonder what happened to him. I hate to think the worst.
Can't remember a lot of people's names, but I do remember them. I miss Showforththepraises. She was special.

My resolution for today, next month, and years to come is to be further from the world and closer to the Word.

You're putting smiles on my face flutemusic
I got Show's book. Cool stories and interesting writing.
I remember another: He had the "scrubbing bubbles" guy for his picture for a while.
I remember when we met him. My son asked him if he had brought his scrub brush.
That was an awesome day!
Wondering what Leaps is up to, too.

Skrubby is doing great! He is downstairs sleeping with the doggies right now. Your son was soooo cute when he asked where his brush was. I'll never forget that and think of your son every time I see the Scrubbing Bubbles bottle.
Haven't talked to Leapsy in a while. Last I heard, she was doing well. I deleted my FB account a while ago, so I've lost touch with lots of people.

Was looking in the archives and came across this:

Being a Christian is just like a pumpkin.
First, God picks you from the pumpkin patch and brings you in from the field. The Bible says He selects us out of the world. We are in the world, but no longer of the world
He then washes all the "dirt" off the outside that we received from being around all the other pumpkins. All the outside influences of our former life must be cleaned up. Old things are passed away and all things are become new.
Then, He carefully removes all the "yucky stuff" called "sin" out from the inside. Sin will not have such internal power.
He then changes us from the inside out by the Power of His Word. That's why it is important to go the church and learn about God's Word.
He carefully removes all those seeds of doubt, hate, greed, and fear. He replaces them with the seeds of faith, hope and love. After Jesus is invited inside, you begin to experience the changing power of God's love in your life.
Then He carves a new smiling face. Our countenance is changed by the power of His presence in our life. We then become so grateful. It can even show on our face.
When we light the candle inside the pumpkin, it reflects the light from inside out. So too, when Jesus, who is called the Son of Light, lives inside of us, He shines through our life for all to see. We can let His light reflect through us to reveal His presence. "Let your light so shine before men that they may be able to see your good works and glorify your Father, who is in heaven.

Obviously I couldn't get his permission to repost his post, but maybe, when its placed on ones heart to do so,
maybe there is a special sort of permission of encouragement to do so?

Welcome back popples sis,..i pray that all of the old school will return home to their Oasis family safely.
May Jesus bless them and keep them safe wherever they are and make their return as swift as an eagle.
And God bless all the new bro's and sis's here too because one day they'll be old school too.
I'm so glad to be part of God's wonderful family,Thankyou Jesus,
