Taking Day by Day
Well today I awoke with a new attitude to try and leave all my problems in Gods hands. But I feel so lost I feel like I need to find a church but not sure how to go about it. I will pray about it . Although as the day progresses all the financial and family problems seem to be weighing heavy on me. I know I need to just put it God's hands and I really am trying but it sometimes feels like it is overwhelming. So I will keep praying . I feel like I am holding on by a thread and I am losing my grip. God Bless Everyone.
May God Bless You.

Re: Taking Day by Day
Hello Pray4me2 (((hugs)))
God bless you this day.
Yes, the worrying thoughts are a trial, for sure, but God's Word tells us that we don't need to worry, but to think on good things.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
If life's challenges overwhelm us, we can turn to The One and only True God and know He does not want us to worry and fret or to be fearful, but to trust in Him.
1John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
God is Perfect Love, and He will cast out any fear that comes against us, if we go to Him. I know the world teaches us to worry and fret until we come up with a viable solution to our problem, but as children of God, the very best solution will come to us by God. Fear is very noisy and deems to keep us from hearing God -- God speaks to us in a still soft voice. So, we must exercise our faith which God gives us, and pray and believe that God is for us, and not against us, and allow peace, God's peace, to well up within us, and from that place of peace we'll hear His solution to our problem.
Pray4me2, this does take some practice, but, it does work, because it is God's Word in action. I still wobble and waver at times, but, The Holy Spirit is quick to remind me that He can be trusted and is in control, and I am renewed once again by The Lord. And, what He's done for others, He'll do for you.
Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus on your behalf, Pray4me2. May God's blessed will be done.

God bless and keep you.

Re: Taking Day by Day
Hi pray4me2,
Do you have any friends who attend church in your area, that you might could go with? I know one time I had moved to a new town and didn't know anyone there, nor did I know about the churches in the area. I picked up the phone book and went looking through it and called around til I found someone that answered. I asked the time of there services and then went. It was a blessing...maybe you could try this as well.
Please remember God loves you, and He can carry all the burdens you face. Just hand them over to Him and do your best not to pick the worries back up...this is very hard to do...but keep doing it as it will grant you some peace that you so deserve.
Praying for you.
Take care

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
