I will make this simple.
My wife says I need a positive attitude towards our problem. Even if we lose everything we should take comfort in knowing that we belong to God and he will take care of us no matter what. Me being the man of the family and always taking control feel completely out of control. I have not been in this type of situation to where I feel like I am in a deep pit and no way out. I am having such a problem of letting go and letting God take my problem.
Can I get advice on how to get a positive attitude. Also, how to get faith and keep both.

I need your help in another area. I am trying to finish a little book that I am putting together. The book is to comfort people at night when they are having trouble sleeping. So far I have scriptures and the translation of each into Hebrew and Greek along with prayers. I now have approximately 12 pages to fill. I thought it would be nice to have stories about angels and how they have helped people or even stories about how God has helped you in your life or guided your life.
If you do give me a story you will be granting me use of your story for the book. I can't promise it will ever be published but I felt lead by God to write this book. If you would like credit for the story please let me know otherwise I will just leave it as a short story.
This book means more to me than just putting it together for others, it's also to help me. You see this book came to me from my fear and depression and having trouble sleeping at night. I felt if I could read uplifting scriptures and prayers it would give me comfort knowing God is with me. The stories from others would just strengthen my faith even more. So there it is why I feel lead to write this book. So I would like to thank you in advance and ask that when you write it please spell check it. Rather than rewriting each story I plan to just copy and paste it in your own words. Continue to pray for HIS will and KNOW HE hears and knows what you are facing.
He is working although you may not see/feel it.

My wife and I are not losing ground but treading water to keep afloat a week at a time.
So, I too have to live by faith brother.

A couple of verses came to me as Ii read your post and i will share them.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Jesus wants us to trust and have faith in Him. He is God and is in control. He loves you and will provide.
He feeds the sparrows eh?

Might want to read some Chapters out of the Book of Psalms. They help me.
