Day 3
I have been helping out with a family emergency and have been unable to carry on with this study until now. OK, that's not true, is it? The family emergency bit is true, but the being unable to find the time for Bible study is not. The TRUTH is I chose not to study.
Day three is about the planting of seeds (good or bad thoughts) in our minds (soul) and reaping the related emotional (spiritual) and physical (flesh) effects. This course is proving much more difficult than I imagined...
When I was a teenager many years ago, I read some works by Norman Vincent Peele on the power of positive thinking and even peer taught a class on PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). But something seemed to be missing...i know now that that something was Jesus. How could I have missed the one thing that would ensure success in achieving and maintaining a positive mental attitude? How could I have left Jesus out of the process?
I am excited about beginning the Miracle Grow project. Setting goals for myself will, hopefully, keep me motivated in my quest to fulfill my calling. I can't wait to start spending more time with my Lord and Savior...even though thinking, speaking, and acting on the TRUTH will not always be a pleasant exercise.

Hi Kapok1,
It's great to see you continuing the Many Called path. The Miracle Grow charts, are wonderful reminders to keep you on a steady walk with the Lord. Using them will help you to develop habits that will strengthen your relationship in Him.
I was thinking about the first part of what you shared, and how you explained you were busy with the family emergency...and didn't have time to study...but then you really searched deeply and knew the Truth was you didn't want to study. I think that when we can search ourselves deeply and see the Truth for what it is...God will bless us.
Psalm 51:10 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Keep working at the steps of the pathway...God is smiling upon you.
Take care and God Bless

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
