Step 1 First Journal post

Postby truckgirl78 » Sat Mar 09, 2013 9:40 pm

I'm not sure if this is where I post my first Journal entry. But, if it is, here goes.
My thoughts: confused, lost, ashamed, guilty. selfish, skeptical.
Not sure if this will work. Hoping it will.
Afraid of being judged. Don't feel comfortable detailing my sins.

Hello Truckgirl :)

God bless you this day, and welcome to Christianity Oasis. :)

I'm glad The Lord led you here, and also glad to see you are reading the 14 Day Counseling (CCCC) Study. It is such a blessed study.

Truckgirl, it is not necessary that you list your sins in your posts. The important thing is that you embrace the Truths shared within each of the stepping stones, meditate on HIs Word and that you apply those blessed Truths / His Word to your life. The Word of God is Jesus, and Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life, and The Truth shall set you free. Thank You Jesus!!!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you, to offer prayer support and sharing any insight, if given and prompted, by The Holy Spirit.

God bless and keep you, Truckgirl.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

Hi Truckgirl, welcome to the Oasis. God loves you so very much that He has brought you to a new path of healing. I know you state you are a big skeptical...and that is the enemy trying to hold you back from really getting the True Healing you Seek. I encourage you to fight through the skepticisim, the guilt, the fears, and the anxiety I know you are feeling...and truly begin to let go of what has been holding you back and keeping you from the future that God wants you to have. Sort of like when you have your hair up in a ponytail all day...and your head begins to ache a bit from it...so you take it down...and feel the pain subsiding...that's how God wants this journey for you to be...for you to let it all loose...and let Him love you and show you the good things He has planned for you.

My prayers are with you on this path.

Take care and God Bless
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Well, as you can see, I posted my one and only post on March 10. I have been thru a move and job change recently, so I have let that interfere with my really getting serious about this 14 day study. Please pray for me that I will get busy and work my way thru it. I have been out of church for over 2 years now and really have not been faithful in reading the Bible either. So, I realize that I'm not in the best situation to overcome what is bothering me. Thanks to all for any prayers and help I can get
