Prayer for relief
I am really struggling right now and would appreciate your prayers. I have several health issues. I have a tracheostomy and have had it for over two years. I lost the ability to talk in August or September. I have been able to blow air out of my mouth some the past month. If I continue to do so I will have to go back to Nashville for an exam to see if I could try surgery to be able to speak again. This would be a HUGE blessing. I know God is able. We also find out the results of my daughters tests Wednesday. I have been really worried and an emotional mess. I am saved and have been for 19 years. My problem is I don't know how not to worry and to turn it over to God. If any one has any suggestions as to how to do this I would sure appreciate it. Thank you all for your support and help. I am not sure I am doing this right but I sure hope so.

Re: Prayer for relief
Hello ChildofGod
God bless you this day.
Worry. It seems worry must be so deeply engrained in humans, because it comes upon us all so naturally. Must be part of the corrupt flesh that every human being has. Through the generations humans took it further and glorified "worry" by associating the act of worry (worrying) as a sign that we are a responsible people, contemplative souls -- not prone to recklessness, but deep and pensive.
I, too, got caught up in that lie -- hook, line and sinker. And, I sank low and nearly drowned by the weight of worry. What a relief to find out, I no longer had to succumb to it's deceptions.
The enemy of our souls will try to convince us that the answers to those difficult challenges will come to us, and be revealed to us, only after we have suffered under the oppressive weight of worry. The enemy will further convince us that if we aren't worrying, we're being irresponsible, and will be blind-sided and look the fool for not having grunted out the solution.
NONSENSE!!!
If we have considered the options and we are still unclear as to the resolution of any problem, we lay it at the feet of Jesus, confident in the knowledge that He will take care of it, and if He wants us to do a particular thing, He'll let us know. Take a much needed and blessed rest in Him. Breathe out that huge sigh of relief!!! Hallelujah!!! Allow Him to renew you and await the blessed peace -- His peace will envelope you. We hear Him best when in that blessed state of peace -- in His presence. Then repeat those steps as needed.
ChildofGod, The Lord loves you and He doesn't require you jump through hoops, nor get all tangled up in them like a contortionist.
Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus on behalf of you and your daughter. God's blessed will be done.
God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... So cool to read TRUTH and not just read ear tickling words which are no more than a band aid on a Broken heart.
TRUTH and ONLY Truth sets a soul free.
Amen and Amen and Amen.
TRUTH and ONLY Truth sets a soul free.
Amen and Amen and Amen.
Jesus is coming ... Get your soul prepared.
