day 6
i have been going thru a lot lately and I'm just so scattered. going thru my MIL being in the hospital, my husband away for 2 weeks, dealing with my inner demons, etc. i wish i could just have someone hand me a list of exact instructions on what to do and how to do it. my life would be soooo much easier. sometimes i hate the fact that we can feel things: hurt, jealousy, anger, resentment, etc. I tend to get in trouble because of my feelings.
I find myself looking around this site and finding so much different topics that apply to me but i dont know which one to start with. I mean, when first coming on here i started the 14 day journey and Im still on it right now, but i see the marriage one, I see the healing one, etc. with all my issues I dont know which one to kick start my road to peace and happiness.

Re: day 6
Hello and welcome to the Oasis , glad you have chosen to go through thi 14 day path to healing .
Like many of us , if not all , when we finally decide to do something about our "situation" , it is seldom a single "issue" .
Every action affects another . For example , your statement , "I tend to get into trouble because of my feelings" and right before that statement , you had a list of variety of "feelings" , that stem from different areas and and also at the same time cause other "issues" to pop up and added to the already existing uncomfortable situation .
I do , from my own experience , agree with your "where do I start" dilema , I went through it myself .
See , when I first started the road to recovery from my past lifestyle , at first , because of files and files of unfinished business , my mind went at ten directions at the same time , until someone took me to a steak dinner and asking me how apetizing it was and all that , he said watch this ... and he cleared the table from all silverware and said , now enjoy your steak !
The point , just as we don't eat the steak all in one bite (though I have an 11 year old who tries it everytime) , we dont tackle all of our issues ALL at once . One bite , one issue at a time .
There is nothing that says you cannot read or gain knowledge or inspiration and understanding from the other forums , but however , it is highly suggested that we go through one study complepetly before we tackle the other .... which , by the way , could be one other issue that just got added to your situation .... wanting to jump to the next phase before finishing the first ?
