Raging Sea
A little somthing I wrote for how I feel....
Raging Sea
I go to my special place there on the beach, slowly scanning my surroundings, and find that I'm all alone. The sand, the palm trees, the protruding rocks coming out of the deep blue sea...The sound of the seagulls flying overhead, the oceans waves as they ebb and flow...The feel of the cool ocean breeze dances around my face and kisses the tears as they run down my cheeks. I walk along the water's edge, barely feeling the water glide over my feet as I continue in a silent reverie. The hairs on the back of my neck and arms stand up. Something is not right...As I turn around my mouth drops open and I stand frozen in fear. The storm is rolling in fast and powerful and it will surely overtake me. Heart pounding, barely breathing, fear is all consuming. I have to run, I can't stay here! I try to run only to find I'm already waste deep in the icy raging sea. Thunder rolls in, lightning flashing all around. The rain pours, and the angry sea tosses and turns, pulling me farther and farther into its depths. Struggling to stay afloat and to find a way out, but there is no way...Tears flow from my eyes adding to the rain and the sea, but no one can hear me cry. Eyes widen as the wall of the tidal wave grows, gasping to catch my breath as it crashes down upon my head. It pulls me deep into the depths, almost knocking me unconscious. The power is deafening except for my heart beat pounding in my ears...I need to get to the surface before it's too late...images coming back to me now...things from my past. They anger me and fill my soul with sorrow. They are dragging me to the bottom of the ocean, holding me down, holding me back...It's not in me anymore to fight. I'm weak...I'll never make it...fading...slowly...fading...eyes closing...releasing my last breath...pushing my head back and my arms up in surrender...one last word, "Jesus...," and then I am still...
The lifeless body continues to sink into the depths, never to be seen again. The waters are still raging, but a light brighter than the sun lights its way down into the ocean and illuminates her. Mighty hands reach out, tenderly taking her in His arms. He brings her to the surface and carries her out of the ocean. He takes her to the beach and kneels down with her still in His arms. Looking at her with a passion and a softness in His eyes, He proclaims, "I love you my child, I am with you." Her eyes flash open, panic swells up as she gasps for air, she coughs and the ocean waters leave her body. He stands, still holding her in His strong arms. He begins to walk, heading into the heart of the storm. The girl squirms, panic and fear rising in her already weak body. Again He says, "I love you my child, I am with you." Her body begins to relax, she trusts Him, as she looks up into His eyes, "Why must we go this way?" He smiles at her as sorrow fills His eyes. "We must go this way to heal you from your past, and to turn you into the woman I know you are. Fear not for I am with you. I will never leave or forsake you. You are my child and your name is written in my book." The girl nodded, smiled, and held tightly onto her Lord, trusting Him as He carried her into the raging storm, knowing He would see her through and come out victorious through Jesus Christ, her Lord, her Savior, her heavenly Father....

Re: Raging Sea
Very beautiful hun! Christ will get you through this storm, even when it feels like you are drowning in it. He is there. You arent lost out at sea, He is right there with you =). Like when Israeli ran from slavery. God will part the ocean for you, and you will cross into the land of freedom that He promises for all his Children. Just keep holding onto him, and he will guide your through =).

Shame and blame are the devil's tools. With God ALL things are possible.
