This is my second day in the study I didn't post the first day because I couldn't decide what to write. Today was reading about who am I but I have already read this study so that wasn't anything new for me but I did review it a bit(the key points).

I found myself daydreaming today as I tend to do at times when I'm taking a break or am bored. The thing was that instead of my daydreams going in the direction they usually go, I was telling children storries from the Bible and bringing them to the lord. What a big difference from my useual daydreams. Hmm, I wonder if that is just my mind working on what I have been learning here or if it's something more. I used to teach sunday school at the last church I went to although the lessons were pretty simple since I was working with kids from age 2-4. So maybe it's just me remembering what it was like teaching the kids even when they couldn't remember what I read 5 seconds ago, but it was fun. I didn't see myself as that good of a teacher at the time because I felt like I was doing it blindly without knowing how to do the teaching. I focused more on the projects that we did after the story which had something to do with the story so I hoped they would remember it better. Now looking back I think it was more that I didn't know the Lord the way I do now. I talk to Him everyday and have learned so much since joining this site that I am building a better foundation in my relationship with Him. Who knows perhaps in time I will be ready to teach others about the Lord again and do a better job at presenting it and be able to answer any questions better.

Hi Ruth34!

Reading your post made me think about myself a lot and I could totally relate. I too was more concerned with the activities at the end of each lesson more than the actual truths being taught. I too, didn't know the Lord as I do now. So glad we are learning so much here together and I praise God for all the wonders He does in us and through us!! Have a great weekend!
