Mother (Gramma)
May we ask for prayer for our Mom? (and Gramma)
She is at the University of Michigan Hosp. in Ann Arbor.
She is 81 years old. Everytime they address one issue,
another pops up. Lots of issues over the last six months.
Its been two weeks in the Hosp, this time.
She went in just, just, before the heat and humidity soared.
Perhaps God's grace in disquise?
We miss her and want her home.
But not our will...its for Yours we pray.
We praise our Lord, God. We thank Him
for His mercy and we receive His grace. \o/
Thank you,
Timothy, Keeper Of The Light & Keeper's Mom.

Thank you for your prayers, your support, and your love.
This is the latest up date from my brother, Pat:
> Mom has been transferred to the cardiac intensive care unit. They took her there this afternoon for a specialized procedure that allowed an ultrasound view of her aorta through an esophageal scope. Originally, she was to return to her room but they decided to keep her in CICU because of all the uncertainty with her situation and (once again) her spiking blood pressure. The test showed nothing significant about the aorta and did not give an indication of what might be causing her abdominal spasms and breathing difficulties.
She's really struggling with her breathing, although her blood oxygen and heart rate numbers are consistently good. Her blood pressure varies from slightly elevated (for her) to spiking to about 190-200 over about 60. She just returned from a CT scan of her abdomen (at about 10:45 p.m.) and we're hopeful this will reveal something about why she's experiencing such spasmodic breathing, and what can be done about it. If it does not provide any answers, or if the scan suggests something drastic would need to be done (along the lines of major surgery), then we'll have to have some serious & frank conversations. Mom has said, and has repeated tonight, that she does not want any more surgeries.
More later, when we hear the results of the CT scan.

Thank you, my brothers and sisters, for being there with us.

May I say a prayer?
Father, we pray that Timothy's mother will be healed. Please God, let Timothy's mother heal pain-lessly, and quickly. Jesus, please help Timothy, and his family get thru this. I know that Your will shall be done. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Luv ya Oasis Family. Hang in there Timothy. God's glorious Will will be done.

Update on my mom: ( for anyone who may express an interest)
The doctors believe she has developed a kidney infection.
They say one kidney is larger than the other and there is liquid surrounding them.
They say she also has some liquid in her lungs, but its not pneumonia. (?)
She continues to have spasms around her diaphragm and has developed gout.
The doctors have put her on pain meds, antibiotics and diuretics.
They are expecting improvement in a couple of days.
Her blood pressure has come down, her heart is strong and her
oxygen levels are good when on oxygen therapy.
She has gone from not being able to sit up due to the pain, to sitting up for several minutes at a time.
From a liquid only diet to some solid foods.
She had originaly went in for an unknown internal bleeding problem, but that seems to have 'healed itself"
- per doctors.
Yesterday she showed some signs of mental lapses.
But she is on so many strong meds right now, they feel that will clear up in time.
I thank you for your concerns and prayers.
All of you who don't post but go to your secret place to pray, I thank you too!
Thank you all for being here.
God Bless You,
Timothy

Update:
Its been a week of ups and downs. Like an old car, ya fix one thing and another part breaks.
Many of Mom's recent problems have been resolved. She is feeling stronger and is more alert.
The doctor found an area of internal bleeding and appear to have fixed it. Right now its about
monitoring her progress and getting some physical therapy. Her hope is to return home this
weekend.
Again, I thank all of you for your love, support and encouragement.
We rejoice and praise God! \0/
