Day 4

Postby JohnR » Wed May 30, 2012 5:30 pm

Just finished stepping stone 4, kind of a continuation of yesterday. I haven’t really done an in depth look at my-self /my life but on a superficial level I have forgiven myself. As for forgiving others I have to say that I feel as though there are more things I need to forgive myself for than I need to forgive others. On the surface I really find it much easier to forgive others than to forgive myself & I really don’t hold on to grudges. Again, I really haven’t gone in depth on this subject, yet. One area that I will probably need to look at is my early years. As I stated in an early post (day 1): I’m overly sensitive & naïve. Those coupled with my anger got me into A LOT of trouble in my life (especially in grade school). There was a lot of turmoil in my household growing up & in my teens my parents went thru a separation then divorced. This was the beginning of my trip down the wrong path. I’m sure as I move on in this program & in my relationship with the Lord that these issues will all be resolved. God Bless

JohnR your journey is just beginning. If you come to the end of the 14 days and find there is more the Lord needs to work on and, by the way, wants to work on, you'll know you are human. His molding us will not be perfected in 14 days. This is a dance with the Lord, or walk, how ever you want to look at it. And It lasts a life time. It's a sweet thing. :)

Take a deep breathe and let it out slowly. And know you are right where the Lord expects you to be right now. Nothing further. Blessings will come. He is good like that.

Love you brother. I'm enjoying walking beside my brothers and sisters here at the Oasis with you.

You said
I’m sure as I move on in this program & in my relationship with the Lord that these issues will all be resolved.

I am confident as well, for our confidence and trust in Him gives us peace and through His strength and guidance we continue on this path to victory.

God is good!
God bless
