Entry 2

i have yet to see how this lesson applies to my situation, i understand that there are 'weeds' in my garden but i'm not certain how removing them will help me heal. I'm not sure which weeds I should be removing at this time, since I feel I have done a lot of that over the past few days. I do know, however, that the passage used about The Sower must have great significance for me and I just need to pray and focus on it to discover what God is trying to tell me. The reason why I say this is because I sleep with my Bible next to me and when I awake each day, I pray and read Bible verses from both the Old and New Testament. Coincidentally or maybe I should say miraculously, the passage I was led to in the New Testament was the same one highleted in Step 2. I do feel better and I have been proclaiming victory and healing and I am just thankful that God is at work in my life even now as I type this. I suppose I need to re-read Step 2 along with the Bible passage so I can get more clarity!

Sis, the beauty in this is that the Holy Spirit knows where the weeds are...and how to show them to you...and remove them, too. In finding the truth of how the Lord really sees you, and He will show you, healing comes. He does the healing. Its all His work...all you have to do is simply show up and trust that He will lead you through whatever it is He brings you to. Some weeds are very painful to look at. These are deeply rooted beliefs...that He wants to pull out and replace with His truth. While pulling some of these weeds (beliefs), sometimes the pain comes from not wanting to let go of our belief..its where we are comfortable and what we have known..what we are familiar with. Sometimes the pain comes from looking at what others have spoken into our lives..or done to our spirits..healing comes when the Lord shows us that we arent defined by their words or thoughts, but by God and His thoughts toward us. Weeds come in many many ways..and they are all rooted lies. When the Holy Spirit brings light to them, shows them to us, we are healed by His truth. Does this make sense?

I love how the Lord works. Just wait, you'll see how He keeps bringing confirmation to you through His word. This really is an awesome journey we are on.

In Jesus,
love momo *BigGrin*

Thanks a lot, it actually does make sense and before the day ended I started to understand. God does work in mysterious ways my sister always says "God is such a funny God." When I realized the weeds that He was referring to, I too had to laugh because it was right there infront of me but He chose to reveal it in His own way. Thank you too for pointing out that pain does come from others words and actions. I feel happier than I have felt in such a long time, I know I still have the journey ahead but I feel happy and confident. God is speaking to me in so many ways and I started off with a purpose to heal my broken heart and my broken relationship and while I trust God is healing those, the real problem lies deep within me and there is where I feel all his healing.

God bless you on your own journey Momo and thanks for your words
