The Holy Spirit

(John 6:53 ) Jesus said to them” I tell you the truth unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day, for my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him…. (this is the bread that came down from heaven)…….(john 6:.62 ) what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before. The spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.

Jesus is the bread that came from heaven, The truth, way and life (john 14:6).

Bread =
• (words(Gospel))…….Holy Spirit ……..spiritual body ……. Eternal Life)
• To abide in the Son, so that the Father can abide in us. ( to know the Father, one must know the Son.)
Blood =
• To believe that Jesus is the Son of God that was sent as a sacrifice to take away the sins of the world.
• The new covenant (heb 13:20)
• Through Christ Our Father was merciful to forgive us of our sins, through the Holy Spirit he continues to forgive us of our sins. Let us also forgive others who have sinned against us.
• Reconciled to God through Jesus ( Romans 5:9-11)


The Holy Spirit IS:

• LOVE (romans 5:5) God poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy spirit, whom he has given us…
• The Spirit of truth (14:17 John)
• The Great Spirit ( john 14:12) I tell you the truth anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
• Our Teacher (john 14:26) but the counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
• The Spirit that guides us (John 15:13) but when he, the spirit of truth comes he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
• Spiritual Gifts ( 27- 31 1 corith) (1 corith 12) (JESUS IS LORD) Healing, tongues, interpretation of tongues, message of knowledge and wisdom, prophecy.
• Spirit of wisdom (james 1:5) If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
• The Spirit that intercedes Gods will (Roman 8:26) In the same way , the Spirit helps us in our weakness, we do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.


1 corithians 2 We have received the Spirit who is from God, the Spirit given to us freely from God, who will teach us the truth in all things. (1 corith 2:16) The Spirit lives in us, for we are Gods temple.
(Galatians 4:6) because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his son into our hearts, the spirit who calls out “Abba, Father”.

I just read a book on the Holy Spirit and His gifts. I have a serious hunger to know God and I am reading a lot. I was wanting so badly to recieve the baptism of the Holy Spirit. i tried and tried and finally my Pastor helped. So HALLELUJAH!!!

I have experiened the Joy of the LORD also and I just love it!!! God touches me just when I am about to just throw the towel in and it's the most amazing feeling knowing He cares and He knows and see everything and we are never alone. I love the fact that God made His home in us and sent us the Holy Spirit to teach us and comfort us.
