Re: His calling...my journey to walk worthy
Well, the peace was short lived...somehow the enemy must have got wind...that I was happy...sneaky..sneaky...so now he is working on stealing my joy...trying to stay positive and carry on. May God guide my path today.
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Re: His calling...my journey to walk worthy
I received the following note and pictures this morning from Snoopy's breeder. This lil feller is surely gonna be a delight...wondering if he's really a boxer or a pig though...hehe
I just had to send these pictures of Snoopy. I doubt you are old enough to remember the old TV advertisement I think it was for Alka Seltzer " I can't believe I ate the WHOLE thing" but this is the perfect caption for these pictures :-) Oh and just so you know, that is not puppy poo on their blanket it's food where they've walked all in their food pans and then proceeded to track the food everywhere, I normally change the blanket right after they eat but they all fell asleep before I had a chance to clean up.. :-)

Re: His calling...my journey to walk worthy
Wow, been almost 3 months since I've written in here. Well, God is still God...even after all that time
I've learned something in my travels over the last several months...so thinking today I'll place some things down.
1. First and foremost, I serve God and only God. I am happier in the last year than I've been in a long time. Are things always great? No way...but I'm learning that it's not the situation I'm in...but where my heart is that matters.
2. I've made a ton of friends and acquaintances in the past year. Some have come and gone...but I've learned that God brings people in and out of our lives for reasons...it's not that we have parted ways on bad terms...but circumstances sometimes doesn't allow contact...and the time that I was able to be with these people...they have touched my life...and I hope that I have theirs.
3. I have developed a lot of patience, and I see that it's ok to be loved by many people. There was a time in my life, that I felt it was wrong to have people like me the way they do...but over time...I see that it's not me they see, but God within me...his compassion He has put within that draws people to be near me....many laugh at me when I say this...but I've decided when I retire, I'm going to be a Wal-mart greeter. One of my favorite things to do is go to Wal-mart and walk down the isles and smile at people. If you have ever done this, you will understand. I love bringing God's warmth to the grocery store, to a sidewalk on a sunny day, and to a computer screen that a lost and hurting soul sits behind. And most of all I know it's God working through me, and none of my actions to do any of these things would be possible without Him doing the reaching.
4. People are often "offended" by words shared with them, not because you've said them wrong or shared them in a wrongful way, but because they are already in a state of mind that is looking to find blame...and if they can find something in your shared words to make them the victim then they will do so...and if they can find someone who will listen to their complaints and whines and allow them to remain a victim...then they will do that as well. And then of course you have the ones who are just "jealous"...and they would rather play you off as this mean person, than to allow themselves to accept you as the True child of God you are.
5. Some things my boyfriend likes so much about me are..."the fact you care so much"..."you never try to change for me, you are who you are"....and my cooking skills hehe
6. Pets are replaceable. I sure hated to loose my Rocky, but I sure love my new Snoopy and he has healed a spot in my heart.
7. It's ok to point out to your teen daughter that's she is wrong, and not validate her actions, even if she cries and throws a fit.
8. God will provide...even when you are down to the last dollar you have in your bank account...and the electric bill is due...He finds a way to keep the Light going.
9. If God calls you to step out into new places, and to do something outside the church that will bring His lost sheep home...then it's ok to do that...despite what anyone might wonder or think. It's not that you love the church any less...but the church is full of Christians who can minister to the souls who come to the church...but the world is not so full of Christians willing to trudge into the swamp...to reach out to the lady practicing Satanic worship in hopes of bringing her the Light....I am the one called to tread through the swamps..and I will follow Him...wherever He leads.
May God continue to bless the Oasis, and my Oasis family...may you all know how much I love you.

Re: His calling...my journey to walk worthy
Blessed post MLG.
Treading the swamp is where most Christians don't want to go. I really liked that statement!
So good to hear from you and am glad things are ok with you and yours.
Luv Ya

Amen Mlg. On 4. I think I have learned how to love, sometimes just loving someone in Gods love, can break through that persons heart, whatever state it may be in. Thanks for sharing.
