Booleyo's Journal
I decided to go through the stepping stones to help me in the process of getting back to where I need to be with the Lord.
In reading the first stepping stone, I realize that I do need healing. I have made so many mistakes in my past and I tend to dwell on those mistakes. (Not to mention that my grown children won't let me forget either.) But I know that I can't move forward until I forgive myself. I have already asked the Lord to forgive me, now I need to let it all go. This is difficult...I do well for awhile and then someone says something and I start beating myself up all over again. I need to just stand on God's Word when those "times" are upon me, pray through, worship, focus on the Lord.
It is my desire to draw near to the Lord again and for good this time. I want Him to be proud of me and I have to learn that I cannot please everyone. Thank you for listening.

Re: Booleyo's Journal
Hi Booleyo and God bless you.
Im so glad the Lord led you here. We are all in need of healing..and weeding, and I believe He led you here to find it. In reading your post, it sounds to me like you are dealing with some grown kids who havent forgiven you for some mistakes youve made. Sister, You are forgiven by the Lord when you ask. Stand on that as that is His promise to you. If you have asked your children to forgive you, you have done what the Lord wanted you to do. Now, its between them and the Lord. I dont know what the situation is, but, keep praying for your childrens' hearts...for healing in the relationship...and take this time to let the Lord heal you. I believe you are going to find more within these steps than you have imagined.
God bless you. You arent alone, here. The Lord is with you and we here at Oasis are praying and will walk with you through this time. Im praying for you.
In Jesus,
love momo
