Please pray for me
I dont want to be selfish or anything like that. I am just Hurting so bad. Briefly...Lost a very important person from my past, lost my current Girlfriend, Have been alcoholic to the point of health problems, and have no job. Please pray that God will heal me and get me back to work as I about to lose everything. I really could use all the prayers I can get so I appreciate everyone who has talked to me and have tried to guide me back to his path. Im glad I found this place. Thank you and God bless.

Prayers are rising as incense before our Lord.
May God bring healing and peace to your mind and heart.

Re: Please pray for me
First I want to welcome you home, you were led here for a reason and from the sounds of it more than one reason
I'm sorry for the losses you have suffered and for you not having any work, But please do this for me think more about the good times you had with those you have lost, thank God for those times don't dwell on the bad times and as for the work give that to Him as well as the alcohol, ask the Lord to lead you into the job He has for you (and remember it might be the farthest thing from the job "you" expected) but follow what ever lead He gives you, as for the alcohol you can do this if you really want it and you can give it to God and trust He will release you from it, not everyone is the same but here is my story (part of it anyway) I was doing drugs for 20 some years and had gotten into drink pretty heavy too but the alcohol didn't have the hold on me like drugs (pot mostly) I gave it up just because I was tired of the stupidity and drama that seem to follow it when I did it (but I still think the Lord had His doings in me quiting that too, but the pot (and any other drug that tickled my fancy at the time) for sure had me controled until one day driving down the road and I in a loud voice begged the Lord PLEASE take this away from me I don't want it anymore.....I never touched it again, A few years later I decided I wanted to quit smoking (almost 30 years) this was mid december of o5 or o6 I think and that new years eve I walked outside at the church at 11:45 and smoked the last one I would ever touch, I went to the alter and about 8-10 people gathered around and prayed and I have not had the first craving or want for one since...THAT WAS ALL HIM!!!!
there are points and times when I think satan tries but I ain't lettin him win, I don't crave but I'll think about one of the things that had me weak but then I realize it's satan trying to draw me back in with his tools of destruction, drugs, smokes, and yes the alcohol to, he almost got to me once I was on my way to the bar and something told me pull in to this lot and stop......it was my church parking lot....long story short I didn't go to the bar
There are counseling pages here along with lots of other cool pages please look around but for sure check out the counseling pages.
You can do this brother and we will pray for you and talk with you anytime, hope to here more from you.
May God pour His blessings upon you and wrap you in His loving arms.

Re: Please pray for me
Friend,
I been there too. Lost a wife of 19 years, career, everything i owned and ended up living in a halfway house. God is able my friend
For me it took rehab to clear my head and then just going back to Him....He is waiting for you
I sat at a kitchen table a while back... alitlle over 4 years ago now and tried to decide whether a bottle of pills and ending it would be the way to go or keep drinking or get help. God put my hand on the phone book. ain't gonna lie...it wasn't easy.
but He will bring you home if you just give up trying to fix it yourself. i tried for 3 years and nearly killed myself trying to do it alone. You don't have to. He is there and you can hit me up any time you need
Be praying for you
Love you man

Re: Please pray for me
Hi! I am so happy that you have found a new job already! That is fabulous! Praying for you - I know you will be ok. Sometimes it seems like bad things are happening all at once, and that can be really hard, but stay strong brother, God is watching out for you and he has a plan for your life - maybe some of these things are part of his plan for you. Take care, and remember that Jesus Loves you more than any human ever could. I wish you the best - God Bless you! Please keep in touch and let us know how you are.
