Stepping Stone #1

OK so I am starting this path again and am going to do my best to make it through. I got stuck the first time. This time though it feels a little different. I have been doing a lot of talking to God and I am beginning to understand some things. I know it won't be easy and may take more then 14 days but I will make it through and complete this. But in no way will it mean I am done just that this part of my journey will be complete. For so many years I was standing in that dark tunnel looking for the light at the end but never seeing it. Well I had amazing God moment a couple weeks ago and well for the first time in over 20 yrs I can see a pin prick of light way down there so I can now say there is a light at the end of my tunnel and as I go along on this path it will slowly get bigger and one day I will walk out of this tunnel into the light. Until then I will take it one step at a time. I am so scared though as I have lived so long in this darkened tunnel I have found a sense of comfort there. Misery has become a friend of mine and letting that friend go will be hard but I know I will be making new friends that live in the light and in many ways I can't wait even though I am scared. I look forward to sharing this journey with everyone here thank you so much for welcoming me in to the O family.

I like your signature line....

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

What a wonderful verse. It's a promise from God that if we come to Him He will give our souls rest. Even in the midst of turmoil we can find rest in Him. God is so good. We are so blessed to have Him as our Father.

May you be blessed through these steps.

God is growing you. It's a beautiful thing. :)

Dear Sister FFFW,

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?

Psalm 27:14
Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.

Isaiah 41:10
Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Psalm 112:14
Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.

Psalm 107:14
He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom; he snapped their chains.

Isaiah 49
I will say to the prisoners, 'Come out in freedom,' and to those in darkness,
Comw into the light.' They will be my sheep, grazing in green pastures and on hills that were previously bare.
They will neither hunger nor thirst. The searing sun will not reach them anymore. For the LORD in his mercy will lead them; he will lead them beside cool waters.
Sing for joy, O heavens! Rejoice, O earth! Burst into song, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted his people and will have compassion on them in their suffering.

Dear sister, let the Lord burst your chains , seek His light , dance in His love and peace and ruth Give the misery to Him and allow Him to erase it from your soul and replace it with joy .....He is embracing you and seeking you and loving you,.

I treasure you , dear sister and will pray for you to find the peace and light and love of our Lord.

Your friend , brother always
