The Missing

Postby Faith_Underfire » Mon Jul 25, 2011 8:40 am

Hey yall I got an idea for a poem and wanted you guys to be the first to ever read it. I hope you like it, it is a sonnet and though it is not made up quite yet I have a feeling my heart will be seen through it.

The Missing (7/25/2011)

By: Robert

Another Year another birthday,
yet it all seems to be a loss.
I feel like I am stuck in the gray
in the tempest being storm-tossed.
The year so bright passed
so fast as you had just last year.
It feels as though it is the Last
moment I have yet to fear.
It seems I was hugging you moments ago
lost now in a sea of tears and sadness.
I always seem to ask the questions I already know
the answers to in grief and badness.
You are in Jesus' arms right now
where Heavens love abounds.

Hope you all liked it, I am in tears again. Good way to be before I gotta drive (XD). You all take care and please cdomment if you like it, I am not the best writer but God likes it :)

Your Brother in Christ,
Robert

He began to get some energy and began to run some yet stay right by Harlow. As Harlow pointed out a shiny rock he picked it up in his muzzle and began to run around with it as if saying, 'Check out this cool item Harlow and I found.'

It sounds like the very same Spirit of Truth is speaking through you as was in Paul:

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
(2 Cor 4:8-9)
But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
(2 Cor 6:4&10)
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
(2 Cor 12:9-10)
And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.
