Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. It is a beautiful group of people He has collected together here. It makes me smile when I see the love of Christ being shared to others. Agape love. Expecting nothing in return. Just as God willed it. Our little piece of heaven. What a beautiful thing.

I agree Pine, I sat in church last night wishing it was the way it is here....but it's not, they talk of bringing new people in to the Lord for Him to save, they talk of giving Christ's love, they talk of doing all these things....BUT it is just that...talk.
I see so much backstabbing and gossip and JUDGEMENT...it is sickening, they have forgotten the one thing He has asked of us...Love each other as you love yourself AND for us to be "Jesus with skin on" to be these things we need to be loving at ALL yes I said ALL times!! and NEVER judge He IS our ONLY judge, forgive and forget.
These are the things that I love about the Oasis family, I just wish I could find a church with the same values.
God bless one and all

I appreciate the thanks CO, but none are really needed except to thank you and the folks who put this all together. It is a wonderful healing and growing place like the others have said.

Underconstruction...I know what you mean and I have seen it too. Thought for a bit on how to respond and the one of the things that comes to mind is those are the very things I see in myself sometimes. Unforgiving, judgemental, gossiping and it makes me sick of myself. I have been impressed to remember that no human institution is ever gonna be perfect and that the people I work with and go to church with and interact with everywhere are having the same struggles I do. was reading a devotional yesterday and it reminded me of something very important: The way i judge others is the same way God will judge me...by the same standard...so i really got to try to give folks a break and just try to love, help, and understand...cause I sure don't want God to judge me the same way I judge others sometimes. I'm thinkin we got to let god use us to help make these things better...thanks for all your encouragement :)
