Denny's Journal Day 1

Postby Dennis » Thu Jun 02, 2011 4:17 pm

My thoughts for today include frustration with my life situation and a longing to be in the center of God's good, acceptable and perfect will. I have questioned God over the years, but I believe He is so good and that His unfailing love endures forever. I am concerned about my well being, and my God given destiny. I believe the origin of what it is that is bothering me is my failure to establish and maintain an intimate connection with God. My distorted thinking bothers me, my damaged emotions bother me, my sinful behaviors bother me and my bad attitude bothers me. But I am believing God will give me the miracle I need as I follow the 14 steps He has provided for me through the Christianity Oasis Healing Path.

My distorted thinking bothers me, my damaged emotions bother me, my sinful behaviors bother me and my bad attitude bothers me.

Would you like to elaborate on these?

Praying for you.

Hello Denny :)

Let me start by saying...

*WelcomeTrain* to *ChillinAtOasis*

Welcome to the family!

I pray that you find healing and hope through this rather remarkable 14 step journey.
The road ahead is uncertain... this we know :) But, one step at a time truth becomes clearer.
Keep your mind and heart open as you sojourn on this path of healing... it is worth it!

I pray also that you find encouragement and kindness in the souls you will meet along the way.

Now, unto that which you have shared:

Frustration can fuel determination... that determination coupled with God's unfailing love has lead you here. (In my opinion anyway) :)

May today be that first step in establishing the intimate connection with our Lord your heart longs for.
Use that which bothers you as just one more thing you can work on in His truth...
He can work through each and so much more.

Looking forward to walkin the path of healing with you bro.

Peace n Luv in Christ,
*BlessYou* Lani
